bonten mikey || the sneak attack

Hey loves! I hope you're all well!

I'm finally, FINALLY doing requests again. Unfortunately I've got so many to do that it's nuts buttt I WILL get them done eventually!

In other news, my SAT will is in a couple of days....so next time I post I'll be done with it! (thank the lord I'm going insane)

Anyways, reader is gender neutral and since this is Bonten Mikey, there are technically manga spoilers but this is a fluff so nothing much.

It was finally the time.... the time where you could sneak up on your boyfriend!

You see, you and Mikey often play a little game where you guys do harmless sneak attacks on each other! It's just a little thing that makes the days more enjoyable, so, you do it pretty often...or well, Mikey does.

Mikey always managed to sneak up on you, but you could never get to him. There wasn't even once where you could even lay a finger on him!

The guy's a physic, I swear.

You desperately wanted to get back at him, but every time you tried, he always managed to catch you. No matter the situation or time, you always failed, ALWAYS.

After weeks of trying to do win against Mikey, you were finally given a real chance of being successful. After weeks of failing over and over again, and weeks of Mikey laughing at you, you finally had your perfect opportunity.

Your boyfriend, Mikey, was casually working at his desk. You could see that back of his head and his tattoo, that he was leaning down and scanning the papers below him. From the looks of it and annoyed sighs he kept making, he was probably going through people who could possibly be recruited into Bonten.

This was probably his least favorite part of the job, mainly because he truly did not give a shit about what happened to any of these guys. He couldn't care less about them, their background, and their skills.

They were going to die either way, so who cares?

Unfortunately, as the boss, he still had to got through and give approval to these for acceptance, just because he needed to make sure they weren't spies.

Clearly, today was one of those day where he had to go through people, and it also happened to be the best time to finally win against Mikey!

It was truly the perfect opportunity to get your sneak attack in....and lord knows you needed to do it now. You had make up for the embarrassing scene last night.

As usual, last night you tried to do a sneak attack, but it failed miserably, so much so that you couldn't sleep....

While Mikey was taking a shower, you went in and tried ANOTHER sneak attack on him.... but it turns out that Mikey had gotten out of the shower at some point and got water everywhere...and well before you could even approach the shower, you slipped on the water and fell face first into the tile floor.

And then there was the other embarrassing time, where you sneezed the moment, you walked in the room...

Yeah.... the whole sneak attack thing is NOT going well for you.... until now.

Now you had a half-asleep Mikey dragging his feet doing his work....and what better time than time where he's prostrating work? It was just so perfect.

Slowly, you made you way into the big office through the backdoor. You didn't even bother to close the door because you knew making one wrong sound would mess EVERYTHING up. Hell, you took of your shoes so he wouldn't hear the clacking.

You then slowly inched towards him, missing the wood you knew would creak. And well, before you knew it you were directly behind him, and he still hadn't noticed. Mikey was just resting his hand on his shoulder groaning from the unnecessary number of words on the paper---and you, loomed directly over him.

You slickly, but slowly positioned your hands around his waist (with full intentions of digging your fingers into his side). Of course, you stayed just far enough away so Mikey wouldn't feel your breathing, and your hands only floated above his side prepared to attack.

And without a moment's waste, you went dig your fingers down....

Only for Mikey to speak just as you went in.

"Y'know there's security camera's in here...right?"

"................."

"..............."

"FUCK ME!!!!!!!!!!!"

Needless to say, the whole sneak attack thing with Mikey failed once again, and you'd have to wait another billon years to get another chance.

Until then, you get to deal with Mikey's cocky ass rubbing in another win.....

What. an. assshole.
