The sound of clanking metal sounded throughout the back room of S.S motors, as you silently sat at the desk watching your boyfriend work overtime, again.

His tired eyes slowly scanned the motorcycle below him, before he once again, messed with a likely broken part. His unusually messy hair went in almost every direction possible, and his eyes had horrible blue eyes bags under them, that made you worry for his wellbeing.

He almost looked sick from exhaustion.

"Shinnn, when can we go home?" you questioned. Shinichiro's tired eyes quickly glanced your way in response.

"We can go home after I finish this, love"

"But who knows how long that will take! Don't you think you should at least take a break ...? You've been so busy lately"

The black-haired boy chuckled, before going back to turning back to the motorcycle laying on the ground next to him. "I swear I'll slow down soon; I just have to finish this one big project"

"Promise?"

"Promise" he answered, before going back to his original work. Unfortunately, you didn't believe a word he said. After all, he's told you that before, yet here you were, sitting in the dark back room, watching your boyfriend tiredly work.

Never in your life have you seen him so tired and out of it. He was usually so bright and perky, with a nice comforting smile on his face. He was always so attending to his friend's family, and you. He was always sure to give you all the love you needed, yet, for the past 6 months, he's been so busy with this new "Project" that you rarely see him.

If you were honest, you were so worried for him. Yes, you knew he enjoyed doing this, and it surely was his passion, but it really isn't healthy to be stuck in the shop 24/7.

You could only hope he would keep his promise, and wind down again. But, for now, you trusted that he would keep it. So, you simply cooperated with him, and waited for him to finish up with his current job.

Well, that was until it hit 2 in the morning.

Shinichiro was still sitting on the ground working on that damn bike while you sat watching him, barely awake. He hadn't eaten. He hadn't slept. He barely talked to you. He just sat and worked on the bike, without regard of his health.

If you were honest, you'd had enough.

As much as you wanted to keep, your word and let him do his thing, you just couldn't. How were you supposed to if he wasn't even taking a break to eat, let alone sleep.

Hell, as amazing as having a passion is, it's worrisome when it becomes an obsession that can led to your own downfall. You had seen this exact thing happen before and trust me when I say you sure as hell didn't want that to happen to your boyfriend.

It didn't matter what it took, you were going to knock some sense into him. You may come off as too harsh, but you just couldn't let him do this, not anymore.

"Shinichiro?" you calmly called.

"......."

"Shinichiro?"

"......"

"SHINICHIRO!"

"Huh? Sorry love, I was really focused" he finally replied, a small bead of sweat running down his skin as he saw your irritated expression.
