Hi loves! Hope your all doing well!! And just a heads up, this one has some manga spoilers, so, if you haven't read the manga, don't read this.

I honestly wasn't ever going to write this, but I'm a simp for Waka, sooo...

As always reader is gender neutral, also, sorry for the short one, but don't worry, I'm working on something else!!

And there are no tw's!!

The peaceful sound of rain pounding on the roof was the only sound that echoed throughout the small apartment. You, sat casually on the couch, spending the peaceful night all alone.

You could feel warmth blow through the small living room, proving that it was just as cold outside as it looked. It was hard for you to believe that just a few hours early you were basking in the warmth of the sun. Now, you were sitting on the couch, looking out into the depths of darkness, the lights of the city being the only thing that lit up the particularly dark night.

Your eyes moved from the night to the window next to you, which was covered in rain. Rain drops slowly ran down the window, your eyes quickly following them.

You watched them as you guessed which drop would reach the bottom of the window, the ones that reached the bottom first, being the winners of the race, the race that you had created in your mind.

And when the race would finish, you would just start a new one with the rain drops that had just recently landed on the window. And you repeated this over and over again, the only thing snapping you out of your trance, being the new sound of keys jiggling in your locked door.

You see, usually on nights like these you weren't alone. You were usually with your boyfriend, Wakasa. However, he unexpectedly got called out to a Brahman meeting, leaving you all alone, with only the rain to keep you company.

But now, it seemed he finally arrived home. And you couldn't be happier!

You quickly stood up, getting ready to great Waka, who you had guessed got to come home early due to the rain, which was now accompanied by the booming sound of thunder and the flashing of white lightning.

And as he opened the door, a *wam* echoed throughout the quite apartment as the purple-eyed man appeared looking rather exhausted.

"Hey princess," he greeted, placing his soaked umbrella down in the process.

"Waka!" you yelled, running towards the taller male, who quickly wrapped his arms around you, giving you a sweet, loving hug.

"I didn't think you'd be back so soon!"

"Well, Senju sent us home when the lightening started. Thank god she did"

"Yup!"

You stood there for awhile, purely basking in your boyfriend's comforting presence, clearly happy that he was home, until you finally let go and led his likely tired body to the couch, so he could just relax for bit.

You sat down next to him, your hand griping his as he laid his head down on a pillow. Your focus then shifted back towards the rain, which had now slowed down, turning into a lighter more peaceful rain, but one that was heavy enough to keep almost everyone inside.

You couldn't help but feel comfort from the rain that poured. You weren't sure why, but you did. It was almost like a lullaby, comforting you in ways that only something like that could do.

But there was something about the rain that was strange. Something about it that just pulled you in...

And as you realized what it was, you knew what you needed to do right away. And your gaze, once again, shifted back to the boy next to you, who was relaxing the night away.

Well, that was until he noticed you.

"Y/n? Is there something you need?" Waka said, noticing your intense, persistent gaze.

"Umm...possibly?"

"What's up?"

"I wanna dance in the rain!", you suddenly shouted, abruptly standing up.

"What?! With whom?", he said, shooting up right in front of you.

"With you!!"

"WHAT?!", he said, a look of pure bewilderment etching onto his face as he processed your words.

"Yes!! Please Waka, it'll be fun!", you begged.

"We're in the middle of a thunderstorm, and you wanna go out and feel the rain?!"

"....yes, I do"

Your eyes shifted upwards towards his sleepy purple ones, his eyes meeting yours in the process. And when they did, his heart stopped.

You gave him the most desperate puppy dog eyes you possibly could, hoping he would give into you and agree to a little dance in the rain. And, your techniques seemed to be working really really well!

Waka's eyes shifted away from yours, his cheeks gaining a bright pink hue to them. His hands fidgeted with his black brahman jacket while he thought seemingly thought about something...

"Please Waka...", you sweetly spoke, noticing his gaze shifting back towards yours.

The blonde-haired male with the purple streaks sighed, as he rubbed his forehead, his cheeks gaining an even brighter hue to them.

And it was then that you knew, you won.

"Fine...let's go", he grumbled, offering his hand out to you, which you gladly took.

And as you walked through the entrance of your apartment building and went right into the cold rain, you wrapped your hands around his shoulders. Naturally, in response, he wrapped your hands around your waist, bringing you closer to his warm body.

And you swayed to the beat of the rain. Your heads rested against each other, you both looking deeply into the others eyes, still swaying.

And you swayed, and you swayed, and you swayed, and you swayed.

And while you danced with Waka, him looking just a deeply into your eyes as you were looking to his, that he finally smiled.

He gave you a small, sweet smile. One that was so rare, yet so real.

And that would be something that you would remember for the rest of your life.

The image of Waka's long hair and black coat sticking to his body while he stood there soaked in the rain. His normally bored, sleepy eyes shone in a way you and never seen before. And the sweet smile that he gave you, made your heart thump in a way that it had never thumped before.

And that was a feeling you'd never forget.

The feeling of peace. The feeling of happiness.

The feeling of pure and real love.
