They talked to the doctor and she agreed i could go, then they escorted me to the car. We got to the car and detective Sthe said he would take me to the house s officer Zulu could knock off. It was broad daylight my mind was still racing on all the events happening in my life in the last days. " Ntokazi did you hear what i said?" Sthe interrupted my thoughts.
Me: oh sorry, you were saying?
Sthe: ngithe ( i said) do you have any people you know besides your deceased friend?
Me: no i have nobody. I could feel the tears welling up in my eyes. Je looked my way. Then looked ahead.
Sthe: ngyaxolisa ( im sorry). I just nodded and we continued the rest of the road in silence. We arrived at the house it was a modest house nothing wow and there was already a car parked in front of it. We got out i followed him. Two men approached Sthe and they exchanged greetings and introduced me to them telling me they were the officers who were gonna watch over me while they investigated in case my allegations were true. I greeted them and they showed me into the house. One of them led to what was to be my room for the duration of the stay.
Sthe walked in behind us.
Sthe: listen i have to leave now but my officers here will keep you safe. Get some rest I'll see you in the morning. With that he left.At least i was finally feeling safe although inside i felt broken and messed up but at least i felt safe. I decided to go bath i hadn't taken a bath since the Sphiwe incident. I took of my clothes opened the shower waited for the water to be warm then i got in. I just stood under the water letting it wash away all this dirtiness i had on me. I started scrubbing myself so hard i just had to get rid of the filth and the pain i was feeling inside. After some time i got out wrapped myself in a towel and went to the bedroom. I remembered i had no toiletries or even clothes to change into all i had was the clothes on my back. I just sat on my bed thinking what to do next it was the middle of the day i wanted to sleep but i wasn't comfortable sleeping in just a towel with men around. The cellphone rang. It was an unsaved number that didn't surprise me since this phone was given to me. I answered.
Me: hello?
Caller: hi ntokazi its detective Sthe here.
Me: oh hi.
Sthe: listen i forgot to ask will you be needing anything like clothes or something?
Me: as matter of a fact i do need toilectries and some few clothes and erm underwears. I said shyly. I could here him chuckle at the last part.
Sthe: um ngyezwa ntokazi ill organise the officer watching you to get you those things please write them down umnike( and give him).
Me: okay. Thanks
Sthe: pleasure another thing feel free to call whenever you need something or remember something.
Me: ok then. We said our goodbyes and we hung up. I must admit i never had a man fuss over me i know he was just doing his job but it felt good to be a center of attention for once. All my life i lived it head down i never really saw myself as attractive i was always on some diet or the other. Rose always was the one who made me feel good about myself. Its not that i never got proposals from men but aftet mt last relationship i just told myself men are a waste of time and energy. That relationship almost destroyed me im lucky i got out in one piece and picked myself up thanks to my Rose. So this was kind of nice. I wrote the list and went to go give the officer and quickly went back to my room and locked the door i didnt want to be accused of seducing men again. I got into bed and soon dosed off.I was sitting in a dark room only heard voices talking but i couldn't make out what they were saying. Then there was a light coming in from somewhere i got up to go have a look i peeped throught the door and i saw a woman in heels walking behind a man pushing him in a wheelchair she was wearing a nurses uniform. The kept walking i decided to follow i tiptoed behind them. They got into a room i stood hidden by the door.
Woman: lalela uyawudinga lomjovo( listen you need this injection)
Man: ngidinga uNomzamo wam ( i need my nomzamo)
Woman: i have told you so many times washona uNomzamo now give me your arm. He gave her his arm and she injected him. Then as i watched i felt a tap on my shoulder it frightened me enough to scream the woman now was approaching the door i didn't know what to do i just froze. She opened the door to find me she smiled then pulled out a gun..
Me: no no please im sorry i dont want to die. I pleaded. She continued smiling with the gun aimed straight at my face.
Her: Ghosts cant die sweety they are already dead. BANG!!! I woke up drenched in sweat. This was another nightmare i had which had Nomzamo being mentioned. I started to wonder who was this Nomzamo, is it someone who could help me find some answers surely these were not just dreams. I was just confused. I looked at the window it was already night. As i got up to properly wrap my towel a brick came flying through the window i got such a fright and i trembled watching it on the floor then i noticed it had a note. With my hands shaking like never before i took the note tied to the brick and read it.
" You can run but you cant hide what is a prince without his princess. See you soon my princess". I felt sick like my heart sank right down to my stomach." Kodwa ngoneni kubani ngilungise" i cried out.🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
