I drove home with peace of mind knowing Ndoh was under my care now at least now i would be able to protect her 24/7. No one understands the way i feel about her, i would give my life in a heartbeat only for her. I was hired to kill her but instead i found love. I just wish she loved me as well. We got home and i carried her to the guest bedroom, it hurt me to see her so fragile and weak my only prayer was that she doesnt give up on life. We both laughed we continued our conversation with some general chit chat and then said our goodbyes. I finished eating my snack then i went to check on Ndoh. I entered her room i found her sweating profusely so i went to get a towel and dampened it and went to go wipe her. This thing touching my skin continued i forced myself to open my eyes so i can see what is being done to me. I opened my eyes and saw Menzi putting a towel on me and wiping away. I forced myself to raise my head and saw i was naked. I started to panic. He didnt notice i was awake." No! Please dont please!!!" i said trying to shout but my voice sounded to soft. Menzi looked at me in surprise.
Menzi: Ndoh? Its not what you think im just giving you a bed bath really please believe me. He pleaded his voice sounded so sincere.
Me: where am i?
Menzi: you are at my house i had to take you out of hospital Ndoh you were poisoned by that witch and i was scared she would finish you off.
Me: who took me to hospital??? Who found me?
Menzi: shes the one that took you there.
Me: but why poison me and then take me to hospital. It didn't make sense to me. He kept quiet for little while then he looked down.
Menzi: because you were pregnant with her grandchild, i don't think she knew before she poisoned you.
Me: im pregnant? I touched my belly.
Menzi: im sorry Ndoh the poison caused you to miscarry. He looked at me sadly. When he said that i felt the tears threatening to leave my eyes. I held them back, why should i cry? Yes i wanted a baby in my life but this pregnancy saved my life it interfered that witches evil plan with me.
Me: its okay dont feel sorry for me i guess it had to be a life for a life and mine was spared all i can do is be thankful im alive.
Menzi: that's true. He smiled. He continued to wipe me down. It felt strange though being so helpless and having a man bathing me like this. I felt so embarrassed. Gosh now that he's seeing my naked body it must be a turn off. I looked at him gently wiping away but the poor guy was a hot mess his forehead and nose were sweating.
Me: are you okay, you sweating like hell. He cleared his throat

Me:okay im sorry in actual fact its flattering i love when my naked body gets a standing ovation. We both laughed.

He came to stand by my face pulled the covers over me and went to grab a nearby chair and sat down before me, i turned my head to the side he was sitting at. He Looked deeply into my eyes while brushing my hair with his hand. We starred at each other. I felt warm inside looking at this handsome man who claims to love me and is risking his life to save mine.

Menzi: time for that shower now, we both laughed he took the bathing dish and went out. I was just laying there smiling. My heart was dancing i dont understand why though i mean i cant possibly be falling for this thug, can i ?
