Menzi was reluctant to meet Zoe at first everything in him told him not to go through with meeting her but his curiosity got the better of him. He was getting ready to go when Nomzamo came to him.
Nomzamo: babe can you take me to the shopping centre there's some few things i need i want to try a new recipe for us tonight.
Menzi: im actually on my way out babe i dont know when I'll be back.
Nomzamo: oh uyaphi? (where you going )
Menzi: erm meeting with a potential business partner.
Nomzamo: oh okay i guess a cab will do go well babe. They kissed and he left, he made a mental note to buy her a car. He drove to the Micheal Angelo hotel where he was to meet Zoe. He got in the reception told them he was meeting someone for lunch and went in the restaurant. He looked around a bit until he spotted her. She wore a figure hugging maroon dress that showed curves in all the right places. He went over to her she was looking at something on her phone. She looked up and saw him and smiled.
Zoe: hey you? She got up to hug him. He didn't have much room to turn down the hug she was already in his face so he hugged her. Something felt different about her the was this glow that made her seem so attractive. He just shook it off. They sat down.

Zoe: wow straight to business i like.
Menzi: how do you know her? She looked down pretending to be sad.
Zoe: i didnt but my brother did, he worked for her she was an evil woman so i dont know what he did to her but my brother disappeared without a trace, she started to cry. Menzi reached over and tried to console her.
Menzi: shhh ungakhali( dont cry) so who's your brother and where to i fit in?
Zoe: Well Menzi i know your a man of action and you can make things happen i need you to help me track him down.
Menzi: why would i help you after you tried to swindle me out of money claiming your pregnant.
Zoe: im so sorry for that actually thats why i needed the money it was to pay a private investigator a deposit so he could start looking for him.
Menzi: i still dont know who's this brother of yours.
Zoe: oh erm its erm Jacob yes Jacob. He looked at her, she looked away trying to avoid eye contact.

Zoe: no um i was trying to remember the name he uses at work.
Menzi: well ok but ive never heard of him.
Zoe: do you know all the men that worked for Thandi? He thought for a second.
Menzi: no actually i dont, listen I'll help you but once he is found or whatever uphume uphele empilwen yam( you must get the hell out of my life)oh and if you try and hurt my woman in any way or making it seem i have something going on with you i swear i will cut your throat. Zoe began chocking on her drink. Menzi's words struck a cord she was doubting whether to continue this plan of hers but it was too late to pull out she has already lied so much.
Zoe: i hear you Menzi and trust me i wont play like that oh gosh im starving can we order?
Menzi: im not here to socialise just give me a picture of your brother or something that will help me track him.
Zoe: okay i guess I'll come and eat later lets go?

Zoe: my room, dont worry i wont do anything to you i want to give you the stuff you will need. Menzi hesitated for a minute but decided to go with her. The was just something about her and he didn't know what but something was definitely different.
They went to her room Zoe exited the lift first followed by my she stood in from lf her room opened and got in. Menzi didnt follow this time.
Zoe: and now?
Menzi: ill wait here.
Zoe: haibo Menzi i dont bite why you so afraid of me all of a sudden yini awuzethembi eduze kwam( dont you trust yourself around me?)
Menzi: i do its just... "woza hawu youll be out in a flash" she said as she pulled him in.
Zoe: ok ill go get the documents in my bedroom its a bit of a mess it might take some time so have a seat, should i get you some beer? I have some left over from last night my man was visiting me.
Menzi: you have a man now wow people change, he said sarcastically.
Zoe: mcm do you want one or not?
Menzi: sure why not but you better hurry i need to pick up something for my fiance. She looked at him surprised.
Zoe: fiance? Haibo Menzi i thought you were not the fall in love and get married have kids type.
Menzi: well that was before i met my babe. He smiled to himself. Zoe was boiling over with jealousy she hid it behind a forced smile.
Zoe: wow lucky woman. She disappeared into the kitchen area took out some Heineken opened it, poured out a little bit while checking the coast then she took out the love potion it was tasteless and colourless so if wouldnt be detectable, she then poured it just enough to make the bottle look full again then she took one for herself and opened it as well and went to Menzi.
Menzi: took long enough im sure iyashisa manje( its hot by now)
Zoe: hey! Be nice. They both laughed she gave Menzi his and he took it just as he was about to drink it, his phone rang it was Nomzamo. He answered.
Menzi: sthandwa sam uright( my love are you okay)
Nomzamo: Menzi ukuphi im worried ngawe something feels strange nje kimi wenzani lapho( what are you doing there)
Menzi: ai babe you just being paranoid i told you im at a meeting please relax im fine and am about to wrap up.
Nomzamo: oh okay but please be careful love.
Menzi: ok babe wam sharp. They hung up.
Zoe: mmm lying to future wifey already.
Menzi: shut it Zoe! Go get those documents so i can leave!
Zoe: okay okay geez i touched a nerve. Menzi took a sip of his drink finally Zoe's plan was set in motion she waited to see if Menzi would suspect anything. Menzi looked at the bottle.
Menzi: ya ne thats why i dont drink cheap beer its tastes like its diluted. Zoe faked a laugh oh gosh my mam said the same thing i dont taste that mina yazi.
Menzi: because you are a woman. Documents?
Zoe: oh right let me. She disappeared in her bedroom waiting for the muthi to take an effect. She qiuickly slipped into a sexy lingerie amd waited for Menzi to come looking for her. Meanwhile in the lounge area Menzi was feeling all sorts of ways ,he felt hot then cold as he continued sipping on his drink he just didn't feel well at all and he was wondering whats taking Zoe so long so he called out.
Menzi: Zoe man? Hurry up!, he shouted.
Zoe: im coming can you at least come help me look?
Menzo: you know women and misplacing things. He reluctantly got up and went into her bedroom when he got in he was met with the sight of Zoe's body in the sexiest lingerie he rubbed his eyes for a second.
Menzi: Zoe? Is that you?
Zoe: yes baby you like.? He grinned like a school boy.
Menzi: yes i like very much.
Zoe: come get it its all yours. She didnt wait long Menzi pounced on her like a mad man and they had sex. After they were done Menzi looked confused.
Menzi: Zoe? What did we... I need to go. He got up and got dressed and left without saying another word. Zoe lay there in bed she took a cigerrete and lit it she took a puff and started laughing to herself, " hamba uzobuya( go you will be back) this is only the beginning now i have control over you" she laughed harder.

The cab dropped me off at the gate the driver was even helpful enough to carry some of my parcels into the house after that he left. I got in the house was quiet i guess Menzi wasnt back from his meeting he always leaves the tv on he cant stand a quiet house. I took out the groceries from the bags but my mind wasn't even there my heart felt heavy i just didnt know why i also had this sinking feeling in my stomach i just wasnt understanding my body. I decided to just shake it off i would ask Menzi if we can go see a doctor tomorrow. I took out my ingredients i was going to make steak and baked potatoe wedges with a salad on the side. Before i started i felt so hungry so i decided to warm up the boerewors my dad had made the night before he said he wasnt a fan of chicken so he insited on making it himself. I took it out the fidge and put in the microwave as soon as i smelt it i felt nauseous, the timer stopped i took it out yoh ngagula worse ( i got sick worse) i just had to go throw up i quickly ran to the bathroom and threw up after i was done i just rinsed my mouth and went back to the kitchen mcm this wors must be rotten or something for it to smell so badly. I threw it away. I just settled for juice instead. I began preparing supper, i heard Menzi's car pull up i smiled my baby was back i didnt know i was missing him that much until i heard him arrive. He got didnt say a word so i thought he wasnt aware im in the kitchen.
Me: im in the kitchen love, i shouted. No response. So i decided to go over to him maybe he didn't hear me. I found him undressing i wanted to go over and hug him from behind as soon as i did he removed me from him.
Me: hawu babe whats wrong cant i greet my man?
Menzi: im going to shower.
Me: okay would you like a little snack after you are done, im still making supper.
Menzi: im fine
Me: ok how was the meeting?
Menzi: geez Nomzamo ungenwe yin( what's gotten into you) can i go take a shower without answering your 20 questions? Well can i?! Hai man yerrr... He stormed off to the shower. I just stood there like a fool taken aback by what just happened. Whats gotten into Menzi?
