They were a typical brother and sister however no one knew they were related when their parents died Menzi took care of his little sister back in Kzn and when he turned into a life of crime he pushed for her to get adopted so that she would have a stable family. It was hard since she was in her pre-teens but luckily a nice family fell in love with her and adopted her however shortly the family had to move to Umtata in the Eastern cape. It was a sad time for Menzi but he knew whats best and vowed that should he make enough money he would take her to university for any course her little sister desired. There was a condition. No one must ever know they were related because that would put her life on danger and her newly found parents. They kept in touch here and there but now he needed his sister more than ever. He moved to Joburg shortly after his sister left. He was involved in some armed robberies including banks but never murder. It was the first time ever being offered such huge money just to kill someone. For months he followed and watched this woman's every move. Menzi has never had time for love in his life filled with danger her knew it was a liability there was such the occasional prostitute here or there just to take care of the sexual frustration but never did he approach a woman wanting a relationship. Nomfundo changed all that. Somehow this simple woman who lived a simple and boring life changed all that. Somehow that ice block melted revealing a warm heart. He would actually look forward to following her around and make up silly conversations with her in his mind. His biggest mistake was letting that fool Sphiwe in on his plan to kidnap her for her safety. Sphiwe betrayed him, then left him for dead. He didnt know how Nonfundo survived but thanked her ancestors for saving her.
Menzi: she's in danger Nelly and she doesn't even no it!
Nelly: i Know bhuti but right theres nothing you can do, you havent fully recovered, your wounds need to heal you are lucky the bullets missed your vital organs i would be an orphan now. She made a puppy sad face. Menzi couldn't help but laugh.

Nelly: so where were you today?
Menzi looked down.
Menzi: " i went to the house sis, i tracked her down to that witch's house.
Nelly: oh wow bhuti really yoy are barely healing and wena you going around chasing your crush are you that desperate to die?!
Menzi: kumele ngimsize ( i have to help her) i need her in my life i thought she was dead if you hadnt given me that surprise visit then i too would also be dead so it must be fate that even gettinh shot five times i lived. His eyes filled with tears. He quickly looked away, he didn't want Nelly seeing his brother so emotional.
Nelly: wow uyamthanda lomuntu ( you really love this person) i have never in my life seen you like that.
Menzi smiled as if remembering something.
Menzi: i saw her today , she looked so beautiful i just wanted to reach out to her but i couldnt she was with that thug hiding behind a badge. Thats why i have to get better fast Nelly he's sinking his claws into her as we speak.
Nelly : ndiyakuva bhut wam kodwa ngoku( i here you bro but for now) i need you to be back to your old strong self please try to stay away until you can do something about her situation.
Menzi: i need you to do me a favour sis?
Nelly: ohkay?
Menzi: please go just visit her just befriend her that way i know she has someone she can talk to. They killed her friend Nelly akanabani( she has no one)
