Things seemed to be back to normal for a few days Menzi wasn't rushing off to his business meetings he would do what he needed to do from home. In the mornings i would go with dad to the office and come back around midday to chill with my babe i wasn't an employee just yet so i was allowed to take half days. I arrived with Menzi on the phone he was very serious so i didnt want to disturb him i just went to the bedroom to just rest then it hit me i still haven't done the pregnancy test and now would be a perfect time since Menzi was distracted. I got up and went to go get the test from my bag and went into the bathroom, i read the instructions and followed them after i was done i waited for the 1 minute the instructions mentioned i put the stick fae away from me i just sat on the toilet seat anxious about the results. When the minute was over i went over to go check, there were two lines that meant the result was positive i really was pregnant wow. I took a deep breath i had a mixture of emotions, fear, excitement all you can think of i decided to throw everything away but when i got out Menzi was already in the bedroom laying on his back. Yoh ai ke what was i gonna say I'm doing? I wasnt ready to tell him just yet i was still processing the whole thing myself.
Me: babe what are you doing here? He looked at me confused.
Menzi: i sleep here nje babe, what were YOU doing? I cleared my throat and tried to hide the plastic with the pregnancy test in it.
Me: woman stuff.
Menzi: which is what? Putting on a pad or what? Thats the woman stuff you talking about? Yazi i laughed Menzi can be so naive at time as if periods are the only woman stuff we deal with.
Menzi: ai ke wanghleka umuntu( then she laughs at me)
Me: im not laughing babe but I'll tell you later. He was about to protest when we heard the door bell ring. Thank goodness saved by the bell.
Me: I'll get it.
Menzi: oh no you wont he grabbed me and started to tickle me. " Menzi stop! No! " i laughed uncontrollably.
Menzi: ok ill stop for now but when i come back I'll tickle the truth out of you. He smiled and walked out to go open the door. I sat there waited deciding how to tell him because o have to eventually.

Menzi walked to the door and opened and none other than Zoe was standing in front door.
Menzi: Zoe? What the hell are you doing here? He whispered.
Zoe: why are you whispering? I came to give you information about my brother Jake remember?
Menzi: i thought his name is Jacob?
Zoe: huh? Oh yeah Jacob, i call him Jake. So are you gonna let me in or will we talk and finish here?
Menzi: i dont think thats a good idea i mean my fiance is around.
Zoe: so? Its not like im here to seduce you just business.
Menzi: ok but no funny business and if Nomzamo asks who you are just follow my lead or i swear Zoe ill tear you to pieces with my bare hands!
Zoe: okay! Geez someone is in a mood. Menzi made way for her to come in and led her to the kitchen. They sat around the table top and Zoe took out some documents and put them on the table. "babe who's..." it was Nomzamo she walked in. Menzi quickly stood up.
Menzi: babe? Um this is a business associate of mine err Pamela. Zoe smiled and put out her hand for a handshake which Nomzamo accepted gladly.
Nomzamo: nice to meet you Pamela.
Zoe: the pleasure is all mine sweety, she faked a smile.
Nomzamo: ok babe should i make something for you guys maybe you can go continue in the study?
Menzi: umm No love we are fine besides Pamela is only dropping off some papers then leaves.
Zoe: actually i am feeling quite hungry Menzi you dont mind do you i just haven't had time to eat. She looked at Menzi who swallowed hard. His nose began to sweat thid situation was getting more dangerous by the minute. What if Zoe blabs everything about their affair? And if he refuses Pamela's request to stay and eat it will look suspicious all these thoughts were going around in his mind.
Nomzamo: haibo Babe wheres your mind at didnt you here Pamela?
Menzi: oh um yeah sure love we'll go to the study then and please prepare something light and quick im not too hungry. Pamela follow me. She got up and followed Menzi to the study while Nomzamo started to prepare an afternoon snack for them. They got into the study and Menzi immediately grabbed Zoe's arms forcing her to face him.
Menzi: Zoe udlala ngomlilo yangizwa( you're playing with fire you hear me?! )
Zoe: ouch Menzi yanglimaza!
Menzi: what was that?! Does my wife look like your aunty?!
Zoe: No Menzi please i was being truthful i am hungry i told you im out of cash thats why im leaving the hotel please let go of me. He did.
Menzi: can we get to why you are here.
Zoe: ok before that are you still getting me an apartment?
Menzi: about that i dont know what came over me i cant rent an apartment for you what would Nomzamo say?
Zoe: Nomzamo doesn't have to say anything she's not the one sleeping with me, she snapped back.
Menzi: keep your voice down what the hell Zoe?! Just then Nomzamo walked in.
Nomzamo: here you go guys i poured you some mango juice hope it will be okay.
Zoe: just perfect doll wow looks delicious. She made them some steak strips sandwiches with her special sauce it was Menzi's favorite. She smiled pleased with her efforts.
Menzi: thanks my love we'll just eat and Pamela will be on her way. She nodded and walked out. They began to eat Zoe made sure the sauce drips on to her dress.
Zoe: oh gosh Menzi can i get a hand towel this delicious sauce dripped all over my dress. Menzi got up without saying a word and as soon as he was out Zoe took out her potion from her cleavage and poured the whole bottle in his juice and quickly put it back where she took it out. Menzi walkef in handed her the towel and went to go sit to continue eating.
Zoe: your fiance knows her way around the kitchen this is delicious.
Menzi: yeah i know. He sipped his juice. Zoe smiled. As soon as they were finished Menzi offered to take the plates away. When he came back Zoe was sitting seductively on his desk, he paused for a while then he smiled.
Menzi: baby? What are you doing?
Zoe: anything you want me to do honey. She started touching herself.
Menzi: damn baby i want you now! Lets get out of here.
Zoe: as soon as you sign this. She handed him a lease agreement for a townhouse. He took it
Menzi: cant i sign after?
Zoe: no Menzi sign it now! He did as told.
Zoe: thats my love now lets go draw cash for the deposit then we can go have fun.
Menzi: yes baby whatever you want. "thats what i like to hear" she smiled. They walked out of the study and bumped into Nomzamo as she got out of the bedroom.
Nomzamo: oh you guys are done?
Menzi: yes and i have to take Z-Pamela somewhere.
Nomzamo: oh okay when will you be back?
Menzi: I'll be back when you see me asambe Pamela! He stormed off followed by Zoe. Nomzamo just went to the kitchen to prepare supper she had better things to think of than Menzi's tantrums it was nearly an hour since Menzi left when she heard a car hooting outside the house. She ignored it at first because everyone had their own garage remote. The hooting persisted until she was forced to go check it out. When she opened the door there was her dad standing in front of a BMW with a bow on the hood. When he moved in front of it the number plate was written "Zamo"
Nomzamo was beside herself with happiness she ran to go hug her dad. They embraced for a while.
Nomzamo: baba ngyabonga its so beautiful oh my gosh you didn't have to buy such an expensive car
Dad: why not? You deserve it my baby.
Nomzamo: oh baba Nkosi yam ngyambonga uNkulunkulu ukuthi ubuyile empilwen yam(i thank the Lord you are back in my life). She started to cry. Her dad just held her tight.
Dad: I'll do anything for you Nomzamo you struggled all your life now its time for you to enjoy the fruits of my labour. I want when i leave this earth one day to leave you with one thing that no other man can give you, not riches or materialistic things but a fathers unconditional love. I love you my baby more than life itself.
