NarratedMvelo dialled a number and the person picked up. He asked the person to hold for Mr Radebe.
He went to go give Mr Radebe the phone. "sir?, George is on the line"
Mr Radebe: George? It's Mr Radebe here howsit?
George: good sir how can I help you?
Mr Radebe : straight to business I like that. Listen I have a job for you and I need it done asap.
George: name it.
Mr Radebe: I want you to track down Sihle Madlala and bring him to me dead or alive or just barely alive that way I'll have the pleasure of finishing him off. Can you do that?
George: Sihle Madlala? Your son in law?
Mr Radebe: that rat is nothing to me, I found my daughter slaughtered like some animal to top it all he's conned me out of millions of rands I need him 6ft under. Someone walked in while Mr Radebe was on the phone he asked George to hold for a minute. He attended to the person standing before him who had an envelope. He handed it to Mr Radebe who opened and studied what was written in there then handed the envelope back and went back to the line with George.
Mr Radebe : George thanks for holding so I've come across more information and it has really sparked my curiosity.
George : anything that can assist me?
Mr Radebe : possibly so I had the room Zinzi was found murdered in fingerprint dusted and only one finger print was found it belongs to a Nomzamo Khumalo. I need that girl found so she can tell me who she is and what her connection is to my daughter maybe just maybe I might spare her.
George: I hear you boss let me start tracking Sihle and see if I can find him first. They said their goodbyes and hung up. Mr Radebe ordered a complete background check on Nomzamo he called Zinzi 's employees around the house for questioning whether they noticed anything suspicious happening in the house. They lined up and one by one they all said Mr Madlala gave them their service package and asked them not to return the next day they found it strange but since they said once the baby was born they would move they assumed that's why he was letting them go. Mr Radebe : baby?? What baby?! They went quiet.
Mr Radebe : SPEAK!! , his voice roared so loud one worker decided to speak.
Worker: umm sir Madam Zinzi was going to have a baby through a surrogate, the lady was staying here for the past weeks.
Mr Radebe : baby, surrogate, why am I hearing all this now? And why would Zinzi want a child knowing full well she had only a few months to live? Nobody answered his ravings.
Mr Radebe : where is this surrogate?
Worker: we don't know sir on our last day working here she was here and I overheard madam Zinzi saying that the baby would be born the following day. We don't know what happened after that.
Mr Radebe : you have done good with the information you brought to my attention, you may all leave. They left Mr Radebe trying to figure out everything. Too much wasn't making sense and the fact that Sihle paid off the witless and told them not to return just proved him more guilty. Now to fine the so cold surrogate, he might finally have the son he longed for and now that Zinzi was dead he would take sole responsibility for that baby" Mvelo I need a thorough look in the guest room where supposedly the surrogate stayed." Mvelo nodded in agreement and went to do as told.Menzi
Hearing Zamo crying just tore my heart into shreds ngyazi nje someone put her up to pretending like she was okay she wouldn't cry like that if she was alright. Sk is still no where to be found and I needed him since he's more resourceful especially in finding people I just wonder what happened to him. I didn't waste time pondering too much about him needed to enlist help fast. I asked Nelly to take me home I needed to see if I can trace Nomzamo's where abouts as soon as possible. The drive to the house seemed longer than it actually was my brain was scattered I needed to at least find where Sihle is because I was sure Nomzamo would surely be there. We got home I went straight to the study and started my laptop while that was loading I decided to call one of my old friends, maybe he could help ngyazi ukuthi ukuze ngithole uZamo ( I know inorder to find Zamo ) I needed to bring out a side and a life I thought I left behind kuyaphoqa.( its a must). I looked around until I found my old contact book. This book was filled with all kinds of thugs and compared to them I'm a lightweight. Finally I found the number and dialled.
It rang for the longest time until they finally picked up.
"Hello? "
Me: Gman unjani? (how are you)
He laughed I guess he recognised my voice.
Gman : there can only be one guy who calls me that name and forces Zulu down my throat, ngyaphila unjani? ( I'm fine and how are you). I was impressed my friend was as white as they come and I always forced him to learn Zulu incase shit goes down at least he should know some vernacular.
Me: I'm impressed Gman who's been teaching you?
Gman : what can I say my man I'm inlove with a Zulu girl. Ngivele ngahleka ( I just laughed) phela before Gman and I became friends he was one racist asshole I didn't blame him I knew he was raised that way but once he saw how strong the black brotherhood was he became like one of us.
Me: I'm glad to hear hey my man this call isn't social I need your help bra.
Gman : sure man what can I do for you? You know I owe you my life.
Me: don't worry about that, are you still the best tracker in town?
Gman : always will be, why do you need a hit on someone?
Me: no nothing like that I need you to find my wife. He laughed.
Gman: that's funny Menzi tell me the real reason.
Me: I'm serious George I need to find my wife and unborn child.
Gman : wow you actually ARE serious so there's a woman who finally tamed the wild Menzi's heart?
Me: yeah man and she's amazing, I messed up pretty bad and now I think her life could be in danger.
Gman: I hear you bra can I have more details about her or how she disappeared. I explained everything up to the part of the phone call, he listened attentively and asked for me to send a picture of Zamo.
Me: oh and another thing while you at it please track down Sihle Madlala. I just have this strange feeling that he's connected in all this somehow.
Gman : wait how is Sihle connected to your wife?
Me: remember I told you I messed up well that bastard was ready to pick up the pieces of my Zamo's heart I think they dated the idiot even had delusions thinking I would let him raise my baby. I don't even think that fool told Zamo he was married. George was quiet for a while I guess he was processing all this info.
Gman : Menzi I have bad news my man.
Me: what is it?
Gman : Sihle is married to Zinhle Radebe, THEE Zinhle Radebe!
Me: what?! Mr Radebe's daughter?
Gman: it gets worse she was found murdered in her house and Sihle is the number one suspect and is wanted dead or alive since he's disappeared without a trace. He has enlisted my services in tracking him down dead or alive and I know I'm not the only one who he has hired and I fear that if what you say is true and somehow Sihle is with Nomzamo then she's in more danger than you realise. This shook me to the core kanti kwenzakalan la(whats going on here) Mr Radebe was a notorious gangster and well respected even his daughter was known, would Sihle really be foolish enough to kill Zinzi if so why would he do it. All this was confusing me and I'm one person who doesn't scare easily kodwa this was scaring me especially if it involves the Radebes.
Gman: Menzi dude are you still there??
Me: oh ya im here, we need to get cracking quick George if Mr Radebe gets a hold of her if she really is with Sihle then I don't know how I can save her.
Gman : Ill try my best to get that bastard and we can panel beat him and get answers we will find your Nomzamo don't stress. Send me your address let's meet this needs careful planning.Narrated
" Mr Radebe, we've finished the search" said Mvelo as he walked in Mr Radebe 's office.
Mr Radebe: so ? Nitholeni? ( what did you find) who is she? And where is she?
Mvelo : well sir according to some of the things we found her sonogram papers and some documents her name is Nomzamo Khumalo. Mr Radebe took the sonar and looked at it, at the back it was written it's a girl with a smiley face.
Mr Radebe : so this Nomzamo is Zinzi's surrogate? Well that's interesting Mvelo get someone else to find this Nomzamo I can't have her roaming around with my grandchild. Mvelo nodded in agreement and went out.Nomzamo
