Nelly: hey?
Menzi: hey Nelz you're back?
Nelly: yeah sorry it took long i had other things to do before i leave anyways hows Ndoh?
Menzi: shes asleep now uvukile kancane( she was awake for awhile) we had a little chat while i was bed bathing her.
Nelly: mmm so you bed bathed her hey im sure you were so happy,  she said looking amused.
Menzi: yazi uyaphapha( you are too forward). He looked away." do me a favor she wouldn't let me change her pad so please go help her with that"
Nelly: anything for my brother and his bae. She laughed as Menzi gave her a deadly stare.
Nelly: hai wethu ndiyadlala waske waserious yintoni( im just kidding why so serious)
Menzi: i have a lot on my mind thats all just thinking if we covered our tracks well when we left that hospital because definitely Thandi will be looking for her with more vengeance. Tell me something do you think the hypnotherapist can make a house call?
Nelly: I'll try and twist his arm it might cost you.
Menzi: money is no object Nelz we need to move on this time is of the essence i hate feeling trapped in a corner like this.
Nelly: okay i hear ill call him then go clean Ndoh up and leave. Please follow my list amd these are her meds I've written how she will take them.
Menzi: Thanks Nelz wam.  He smiled and got up to hug her.  They embraced for a while.  Deep down inside Nelly was so happy that falling for Ndoh had made him change his ways maybe now finally he would give up a life of crime and be a legit business man and have a family she wished in her heart that Ndoh would fall inlove with her brother, thats the reason for her get away.  She wanted them to bond on a deeper level. They broke the hug.
Menzi: what were you thinking?
Nelly : nothing much let do the things i said ill do.
Menzi: okay cool with that Nelly made her way to the study to make a call,  the hypnotherapist eventually agreed to make a house visit tomorrow at a price of course. After she was done with her phonecall she went into the guest bedroom to go clean Ndoh.

I heard someone walking in the door  i didnt want to wake to look but i was kind of hoping it was Menzi my heart smiled so i decided to open my eyes and see who it was. It wasnt Menzi when she saw me waking up and looking at her she smiled. She looked young but extremely beautiful her perfume ntanga smelled expensive, she had on a Brazilian weave her make up on fleek hee with tinted eyebrows. Something about her face looked familiar though but i just didnt know why. She came closer.
Her: Hey Ndoh how are you feeling?
Me: umm im fine,  who are you and how do you know me?  She looked at me like she was surprised i didnt know her.
Her: so you dont know me? Not even a little?  She asked as though she was thinking something.
Me: i thought you looked familiar but i guess its one of those familiar faces. She smiled but her smile looked mischievous. She cleared her throat.
Her: well you can call me Priscilla im Menzi's wife. As soon as she said that my heart sank to my stomach. So this is Menzis type pho usfunani isdudla esiyim( so what does he want from my fat self)
Me: oh umm i didnt that he...  I mean he didnt...
Priscilla: dont worry dear i know all about him wanting to take you as a second wife.  When she said that i felt embarrassed how could he make things so awkward for me.
Me: i dont want to be his second wife.
Priscilla : why? Dont you love him? She looked at me i couldn't read her expression. I mean how could she asked me that it was too soon to tell what it is im feeling for Menzi. I looked down.
Me: no,  no i dont love him. Married men are off limits to me i would never knowingly be someone's second anything.
Priscilla: well luckily for you,  you are actually going to be number 1 to him.
Me: what do you mean?  I was confused.
Priscilla : i was just pulling your leg im not really his wife im his younger sister Nelly. She smiled.  " Im sorry" she made puppy dog eyes. I just wanted to laugh i felt relieved i wont lie. She came over to hug me.
Nelly: ive met you before its nice to meet you again even if its not under favourable circumstances.
Me: where have we met?
Nelly: the house you were staying at i was the one who tried to sell you insurance.
Me: oh so that was you i thought i recognise you, your insurance company must pay well when i drove off that day i saw you walking towards a fancy car is it yours.
She chuckled.
Nelly: Thats bhuti's car and mna im a doctor in the making im still an intern though so im almost there.
Me: wow who would have thought, so you're the one that nursed him back to health.
Nelly: yep and now its his turn to do the same for you.  She smiled. Ustout lomtwana yazi( this girl is so naughty)
Nelly: im here to clean you up so please dont be embarrased when i was assigned in a gynaecology ward i dealt with such things so i dont get disgusted. Before i forget ill be back.  She went out quick and came back.
Nelly: i just needed to get a few things so i can be able to check your cervix make sure everything is still okay this is not exactly a sterile environment but rest assured my equipment is super sterile. In other word super clean, so shall we.  I nodded.  She did what she had to while we had a general chat.  Well it was mostly her talking about Menzi growing up before she left with her adopted family. I envied her, she had memories of her childhood and even though she lost her real parents but at least she knew them.  Then i remembered something.
Me: oh  no the hypnotherapist! I remembered the appointment we had.
Nelly: oh dont worry about that he will make a house visit tomorrow.
Me: that's good news thank you to you and your brother for everything you are doing for me without even knowing me.
Nelly: its a pleasure im just hoping this will score big points in my brother's favour, she winked.  I laughed.
Nelly: Ndoh?
Me: hmm?
Nelly: do you feel anything at all for Menzi i mean i know you said you dont love him when you thought i was his wife but now that you know im not how do you really feel.
Me: Honestly Nelz... She laughed, i was confused.
Me: uhlekani( what are laughing at)
Nelly: nothing qhubeka sisi( carry on sis)
Me: honestly i dont know how or what i feel for him but he makes my heart dance and after our....  Umm i feel sleepy now. I nearlg told her about the kiss yoh.
Nelly: after your??
Me: our talk yep out talk.  Are you done? I asked trying to change the subject.
Nelly: yep im done, please take these pill for pain and the other ones are to make sure you dont catch an infection. She handed me the pills and a glass of water.  I drank them. She took the glass and said i can have some sleep, she collected all the things she was busy with and left. I closed my eyes and waited for sleep to take over me.

Thandi was preparing to go to hospital. She picked up her phone to dial Mandisa's number for the umpteenth time. Still on voicemail. " dammit Mandisa where the hell are you!!" she was about to leave then her phone rang.  It was a number she didnt know. She answered.
Thandi: hello?
Caller: hello Thandi, this is Mandisa's husband.
Thandi: oh bab'Mthethwa kade ngizama ukufonela uMandisa ( ive been trying to call Mandisa ) is she nearby? Mthethwa went quiet for a while then cleared his.
Mthethwa: Thandi there was an accident, Mandisa usishiyile(Mandisa is no more). She went silent.
Thandi: when did this happen?
Mthethwa: last night luckily the compartment in the car where she kept her papers wasn't caught up in the fire so they were able to identify her and alert me.  Listen i have to go just thought you should know.
Thandi: ok ngyabonga( thanks) please update me on funeral arrangements. Mthethwa agreed they said their goodbyes and hung up. Thandi refused to show any emotion about the passing of Mandisa and shes been around long enough to know it wasn't just a coincidence. She took her car keys and left for the hospital, "that bitch was gonna die today even if it means smothering her with her pillows tills she dies,"She thought to herself. She got into her car and drove off.  Meanwhile a woman stood in front of her house she couldn't see the woman but the woman saw her and smiled after disappearing into thin air.
