Not Safe?

Andi sat in DADA class, listening to her dad go on about Redcaps & Hinkypunks. She liked her dad's class, but she liked the hands-on learning part of class. She wasn't like Teddy. She wasn't book smart like her dad. She was street smart like her mum. Like clockwork, just as Andi thought about her mum, the door to the classroom burst open and her mum ran into the room; covered in cuts and bruises.

Andi got to her feet, surprised. Her mum ran to the front of the room. Her dad stopped talking and looked at her. She started to talking to him a fast, quiet voice. Her dad nodded and started to try and slow her down. He nodded one more time.

"Andi, go find your brother. Bring him here." Andi nodded and turned to the door "The rest of you, you may talk amongst yourselves until the end of the period."

Andi left the classroom and ran down the corridors, going as fast as she could to the Potions classroom. She turned into the classroom finally, slamming the doorknob into the wall. She stood catching her breathe before saying;

"Mum- in dad's office- dad sent me for Teddy- panicking!" she spluttered out.

Teddy shoved to the door, "Mum's here now?"

Andi nodded and grabbed him by the wrist. They ran down the corridors back to dad's classroom. The students in Andi's DADA class were still conversing with each other. Andi and Teddy climbed the stairs to their dad's office and opened the door to their mum being patched up. Her face was covered in bruises that were beginning to heal now. Teddy's eyes went wide.

"What happened, mum?"

She stood up and wrapped her arms around her kids, "Nothing. I'm just glad you two are safe."

"Why would we not be safe?" Andi asked.

Tonks stared down at Andi. She'd said too much. Andi stared up at her, wondering what Tonks meant.

Not Teddy!

Andi sat up, squinting her eyes to clear out her vision. She focused on her brother's bright blue hair. She saw someone standing behind him, pointed their wand at him. They were about to kill him.

"No!!!!!" Andi screamed, getting to her feet. She ran to her brother, "Please!!!! Stop!!!! Not Teddy!!!! Not him!!!! Take me!!!! Kill me!!!!"

"No Andi! It's okay!" Teddy told her.

"No, it's not!" Andi yelled, "Kill me! Leave Teddy alone!"

The wizard aimed their wand at Andi and fired green light at her. Before she could duck out of the way, everything was black.

teddy's pov

Teddy crawled toward his sister's body "No. Andi, no. Please."

"Now it's time for you, boy." the wizard told him.

Teddy didn't even fight back. He saw the green light flash around, but instead of instant death, felt something burn into the back of his neck. Reaching up, he screamed as he held his neck. Looking around at the wizard, he saw a timid figure retreating through a window. Teddy held onto his little sister's lifeless body.

"Mum! Dad!" Teddy yelled through tears, "Help! It's Andi! She's-!"

The door burst open and his parents ran to Teddy.

"What happened, Teddy? What happened?" His dad asked.

"She saved me."

"Remus," Tonks said to her husband as she was examining Teddy's neck, "Look at this."

Remus, having difficulty letting go of his daughter's cold, lifeless hand, did so and looked at his son's neck. His eyes went wide. Right in the center of the back of Teddy's neck was a scar that spelt out a name: Andromeda.
