"Liam! Get back here! Mom will kill me if anything happens to you!" Quinn yelled.
Her little brother looked over his shoulder, "Come and get me!"
And Liam ran away. Quinn ran down the sidewalk after her brother, calling at him to come back. Liam laughed as he ran faster. He veered right, right in front of a car. Liam stopped in his tracks at the sound of the horn. Quinn's eyes went wide and sprinted towards her brother.
She ran out into the street, grabbed Liam and ran away. She covered Liam's ears as the driving swore at them for being in the road and to be more careful. Quinn then looked at Liam, taking hold of his shoulders and lightly shaking.
"You scared me, Liam! Never do that! You understand?" she scolded.
Liam bowed his head shyly. Nodding, he said, "I'm sorry."
Quinn twitched her eyebrows up and wrapped her brother in a hug.
