Tina walked through the halls of Ilvermorny, watching students run through them. She smiled as she remembered when she was in school. She turned around at the sound of a voice she hadn't heard in years.

"Tina?" they asked.

Tina stared into the familiar green eyes of her old school friend, Quinn Smith. She smiled, making her eyes sparkle and ran up to Tina, squeezing her in a tight embrace. Tina, although turning pink from the contact, smiled and hugged her back.

Quinn back away, clutching to Tina's hands, "You remember me?"

"And you remember me?" Tina asked, slightly confused.

Quinn blushed, "Well, how can I forget the girl who dropped her inkpot?"

Tina turned red as she remembered and looked around the hall, "It feels weird to be back here."

Quinn nodded, "It can be. Not for me, though." she looked at Tina, "It feels like I'm home."

19 Years Prior

Tina, eleven years old, walked through Ilvermorny; books overflowing in her arms. She wished her grandmother had purchased her something to carry her books in because she'd almost dropped her inkpot multiple times that day and it was only the first day. She made it down to Potions when the inkpot finally escaped from her.

It smashed on the desk and splashed in her face. She squeezed her eyes shut to avoid ink getting in them. She opened her eyes again and the students who saw what happened were giggling and whispering to their friends. There was only one girl who said nothing. She had fiery orange hair and a wide adventure-seeking eyes. She just stood up and took Tina by the wrist.

"Come on." she looked at the professor, "I'll help get her cleaned up."

He nodded his head, "Be quick."

The girl led Tina to the bathrooms and ran a towel under the water. She rubbed a bar of soap against the wet towel. She scrubbed gently at her face as she cleaned up the ink drops.

"I have a younger brother who gets into a lot of messes. Instead of cleaning him up herself, my mother makes me do it." she smiled a wide friendly smile at Tina, "So I know how to scrub gently."

Tina smiled at her, "I'm Tina."

She nodded, "I know."

"What's your name?" Tina asked.

"Quinn Smith. First year Wampus." she introduced.

Tina smiled. She trusted Quinn. Quinn suddenly stopped and said, "Hey. I have a spare bag. It's in my room, but I can get it and give it to you at dinner. That way you don't have to worry about anymore inkpot incidents.

Tina smiled wide and nodded, "I'd like that. Thank you."
