3rd Person's POV

A deep sigh was released in the air as Gabbie is preparing some pancakes. It's early morning and she's on the breakfast menu. But her mind lingers on different thoughts and the majority are about her pregnancy.

"Good morning, baby." Xander came down to assist as he usually does. Gabbie smiled at him curtly and brought back her attention to the pancake as if she was actually paying attention to it.

Xander saw the fresh fruit juice on the table and grabbed a glass to help himself be quenched. "Did you make this?" He poured a good amount and then drank it in one go.

"Yeah, how is it?" Gabbie asked back. She is still not affording a view to Xander and pretending to be occupied with her work. The man then came near her and held her by the waist. That's when the girl finally looked up to him who's now on her side. Xander didn't miss that chance to kiss Gabbie when they met eyes. It was a passionate one, allowing the girl to taste the bitterly sweet flavor of the extracted orange juice.

She didn't kiss back but didn't break off either. She let the man do it.

"Delicious," Xander answered when he stopped the kiss, pertaining to the juice but his eyes are telling a different meaning. Gabbie drew a faint smile as she is so dense to absorb anything.

"You're very early today, my love." The man verbalized.

"Hm, we have an activity early morning at school," she mentioned and restored her focus to the half-burnt pancake. She became aware then and quickly get it out of the pan.

"I see, let's head on together. We'll stop you over at the university," that idea was not much of a good one for Gabbie. She needs time to meditate and straighten up some spine to scheme over her situation. But of course, she cannot possibly turn that offer down. So she nodded with a smile that feigns happiness.

"Ok," and that's the deal.

They have dined for breakfast together and eventually hit the trail in the same car. It's the first time they had the same time of egress since the man was always the one to head first before. They are both in the backseat of the Benz and Gabbie's driver was maneuvering the steering wheel.

"But where is Brandon?" she asked out of curiosity.

"Oh! He is...having a break," he lied again and that is making him disruptive as the day goes by.

Brandon chose to leave work. He made the request and was granted immediately by Xander's father though the old man counseled him not to mind the erased case. That's how brash he is. No one knows what Brandon is up to and by now, no one knows his location as well. As if Xander would believe that his father is really nescient of his right hand's whereabouts.

Gabbie didn't proceed on asking more because that's her, always avoiding being nosy, or maybe because she is still in doubt of anything her husband says. It will be better to shut up and agree.

The University is on a different route so Xander will have to go back to the main road after dropping off his wife. But he doesn't care one bit. He was ecstatic actually to be with his wife.

Gabbie's phone rang in the midst of their silent trip. She picked it up quickly but titled her body to the window. She doesn't want Xander to hear it although there is nothing to hide from it.

"Yes, hello?"

"The program's 'bout to start. Where are you?"

"I'm...two minutes away."

"Ok, I'm at the gate, I went out to buy tools for later. I'll be waiting for you here, then."

"No no! It's ok, I'll be on my way."
