3rd Person's POVThe three office mates of Team 3 cannot stay still as they wait for their time of presentation. Lester is constantly reviewing the commercial video as well as his script. On the other hand, Quinn has been praying nonstop at one corner, asking for some guidance. The manager then is also on her seat, staring at one spot while massing up some motivation. She cannot fail this project because Lester and Quinn's future depends on it.
"Have you heard?" Lester then spared a minute to share some inside information which also caught the attention of the two.
"Heard what?" Quinn glanced at him.
"There will be a judge from another country."
"What? This must be so serious," she give voice to and Lester only nodded in complete accord.
"Let's not think negative guys, we have a very great proposal and output to be this worried. As long as we are confident with this, there won't be any problems," Gabbie shared with them some words of encouragement though she, herself, doesn't have it. Sometimes, it's easier to advise something we aren't and don't have, even though that should never be part of practice.
The time has come already and so the three of them ramped towards the presentation room, carrying the peak of positivism they can store. "Good day," each of them greeted the panel. Gabbie's head was bent down when she entered and so she didn't know immediately that one of the panel today is someone she definitely knew and definitely missed.
"Good day to you all," Kiel greeted back and that's when the girl finally raised her head in his direction. Kiel was smiling so wide at her when they met eyes but the girl couldn't reciprocate it. She was beyond astonished.
"So, your project is a commercial video and the endorser is Ms. Nicole Smith, oh! This must have cost you a fortune," the other one of the panel commented as his first impression. Gabbie was spaced out for some time before she actually paid full attention to her presentation right now.
Damn you, Kiel. You like to make your return a surprise, huh?
"So, this commercial project was to be honest, a little bit expensive, but it's not as expensive as what you expect," Gabbie made the demonstration lenient and away from any distraction because this is a matter of life and death, especially when there are people who have entrusted their job on her. Gabbie tried her best to explain in detail their purpose, the advantages and even the disadvantages, the risk and consequences, and of course the bigger profit that lies within.
The panel was objective enough to listen to and analyze the proposal and in the end, they made it a success.
"That was a good presentation, Ms. Sanchez. We expect even greater projects from your team in the future," the head panel praised as he stood up to also dismiss the meeting. The panel egressed the room one by one and Gabbie gave some eyes of puzzlement to Kiel who also smiled at her upon leaving the room.
"Waaahhh!! We made it!" Quinn shouted when the room was emptied already. She made short continuous jumps in the air while the two only cheered at her, though they are as happy as her also.
"Quinn, Lester, will you excuse me for a sec? I have to talk to someone," she asked and the both of them were just too hyped to even understand the question. They just nodded and Gabbie went out. She was about to follow Kiel but had no idea where to go, she still, runs in any direction her instincts told her.
Not so many steps ahead when she was called by someone from one of the hallways' intersections. Kiel waited for her there. "Hey!"
"Hey? You acting cool, huh? After not warning me of your come back, hey?"
