3rd Person's POV

Gabbie get back to work after a day of leave. Even how she wanted to stay longer in the hospital, that can't happen since she has loads of work to finish. And one of those is the commercial project that they are rushing now. She finalized the file early morning and passed it to Mr. Dave as soon as possible.

"You mean, Nicole Smith?"

"Yes, Sir. The famous model, Nicole Smith."

"Huh! Ridiculous!" Mr. Dave stamped the proposal on his table with some force that jolted Gabbie a bit. "You know what? Before, I thought you're just some ordinary employee that would not contribute much to the company, you know what people with a high connection is like. But I didn't expect you to be this brainless." The girl was left open-mouthed with the account. Everyone is hearing this right now and the girl could only form fists to try to quell herself.

"I have explained in detail the benefits of this project to the sales of our clothing line. I presented our survey results as well as the feasibility. Our team can guarantee that Ms. Smith is the perfect choice to be our endorser."

"Do you even know how much it would cost us to cast that famous model?"

"I know, Sir."

"You know? And you still pushes this through? You really are brainless about business. I wonder why they let you work here."

"I admit that this line of work is not my bachelor course but except for that, I am qualified to any other requirements and I am doing my work well, Sir. Please be rational enough and try to read our proposal."

"Huh! Why would I read a scrap like this? It would just waste my time," and he threw the file on the floor which swayed the girl. Mr. Dave stood up, went out of his desk to even stepped on the swerved documents.

"You can't cast a very expensive celebrity just for a one-minute commercial. That is basic, Ms. Sanchez. I am very disappointed that you didn't learn even the basics. You're a complete useless in this company."

Gabbie is starting to lose control with this disrespect but for the last time, she still chose to pacify her nerves. "Sir, we have studied this project for more than a month now and you have to give it a chance. Don't be this irrational and please put your personal grudge aside first. This is a business proposal with a clear intention and I was taught that professional life should be separated from personal life. That is a basic." Because of what she said, the narrow-minded man even got more enraged.

"How dare you call me unprofessional! Well, let me show you how unprofessionalism truly is." He removed the cap of his coffee and placed the half-emptied cup above the documents. Gabbie sensed what he was about to do so with an impulse, without much mental picture, she protected the documents with her body, kneeling on the floor to block the coffee.

The coffee was spilled on her as a result. It was quite hot which made her felt burnt a little. People in the room panicked with the scene. Some stood up in shock but no one dared to intervene.

Quinn and Lester were blown, too and Lester was quick to step out of their unit but he was impeded with someone quicker than him.

"So this is what you're talking about when you said 'tight spot' with any of the heads." A voice was heard, so familiar that made everyone in the room tremble in fear. No one predicted what will happen next but one thing is for sure, it would be a complete havoc.

Gabbie saw Xander coming on the way and she stood up instantly trying to hide the coffee spill all over her white shirt but that would be impossible.

"But this isn't a way of learning, though. No one will learn any good from this asshole here," Xander scowled, glaring at Mr. Dave who now gulped the deepest he has done his whole life. Xander is controlling himself not to punch him right away especially seeing Gabbie mocked like this. But he will not be able to deal with it in the cruelest way if he would beat him up. That will only give him temporary pain.
