Gabbie's POV

It was during our morning's last session when I got a message from Garry's school.

"Good morning Ms. Gabriella, we would like to inform you that your brother GARRY SANCHEZ got himself into trouble and the Dean's office of the university's high school department is summoning you for further discussion about the issue."

Kind regards,
Joseph Brown
DEAN

My eyes instantly widen up upon reading the context. That kid, seriously! What did he do this time?! Since using a cellphone is not advisable for this class, I discreetly replied saying I will be there this noon.

Kiel noticed me quite unsettled so he leaned closer to me to check what is going on. He sits beside me, and Leia is in my front.

"Is there something wrong?" he inquired.

I painted a smile and says, "The good brother of mine just put himself into trouble, again. But don't worry I am going there after this class."

He nods, "Do you want me to accompany you?" He offered and I immediately declined and assured him that I can do it alone and safely.

Kiel has become very attentive to me since this morning. He bought me snacks and gave me water without me requesting anything. He even carried my bag when I went to the bathroom and didn't give it back for at least an hour. He has always been this kind but not to this extent. I was wondering if he has some favor to ask me because he is not like this to Leia.

As expected during lunchtime, I didn't bother to eat as I run towards the high school department for my brother. We are in the same university but this school is quite huge so it took me ten minutes to finally step inside the dean's office.

And there I saw a bunch of people including the dean, some teachers, parents, students who seemed to have got into a fight, and one of them is my brother. I straightway run beside him and checked his bruises. Oh, God! There are so many purplish marks in his eyes, cheeks, lips, and even in his arms.

"What happened to you?" I could only utter with so much distress in my voice.

"Your brother is such a troublemaker! Look at what he did to my son!" the woman spat at me with her verdict. But it is very clear that my brother had it harder and his son almost close to pristine as well as the other students with him. Their hairs are just ruffled as well as their uniforms but there is no single contusion evident on their faces.

"What really happened here?" I asked my brother but instead of getting some details from him, the teacher besides the parent answered.

"They caught your brother smoking at the back of the school grounds. They told him to stop but your brother fought them." I was so shocked at this information as I looked back at my brother whose head and eyes are now glued to the floor.

"Is that true Garry?" I gently asked him, still stunned at what I had just given ear to. But he stayed still and when I noticed his hands, they are now shuddering as he formed them into a fist.

I brought my attention back to the teacher. "Sir, actually my brother does not smoke. I've never once seen him smoke and he didn't show any interest in the vice either. So this is very unbelievable to me."

"But we have so many witnesses Ms. Sanchez. With the number of them, the possibility of the accusation being true is very high." I glanced at the male students and the parents beside each of them. They are all on the same side and only my brother is on the opposite.

I sat down just to meet my brother's eyes and I held his hands. "Garry, tell me only the truth, did you really smoke?" My tone was so polite so he will perceive being sheltered. I gave him an 'it's all right' look in the eyes.
