Right. I rolled my eyes mentally.
Why can't they shut their mouth? Ba't ba ako ang palaging pinag iinitan nila? I'm not doing anything wrong at all.

I went on my seat. Nicole Villanueva is the name, and based on my surname para sa seating arrangement ay ako ang huli.

I'm grade 6 na. Grade 6 narin ako ng bumalik kami nina Mama rito sa Escalante. Malungkot dahil I've made friends in Pulupandan but then, we have no choice. Mom doesn't want to stay there any longer because papa always was always drunk. Mom hates alcoholic people. She loathe them because of a particular reason that happened in past. I understand her, some drunk people are doing inappropriate or stupid things and saying things that can hurt someone's feelings.
Mom just had enough.
I finished answering my assignment so I decided to continue reading the book I borrowed from my tita Jen.
It's The Four Bad Boys and Me by Blue maiden. She's a famous Wattpad author. This is my first time reading a famous story. Usually ang binabasa ko ay 'yung mga pocketbooks.
"Nerd." I heard someone said. I just ignore them. I'm used of everyone being so mean to me.
"Nicholai, Rod, and Clark is coming." I smirk. Wrong grammar. I sigh and hid my face.
Sana talaga at 'di ako asarin ng iba d'yan. "Good morning Nicholai!" I heard Agnes and Jenny greeted Nicholai. Our famous classmate. My neighbor.
"Morning." short and cold was his usual response. You don't expect to speak him too much. That would be shocking to everyone. Two sentences are already too much. Parang may bayad yata ang lumalabas sa bibig niya.
But, I'll pay just to hear him talk to me. I sigh again. I really really like him.
Yes. I like Nicholai Herrera. My neighbor, my sun.
He is one of the reason why I always come to school.
I secretly glance at him and to my surprise, I saw him glance at me too. I immediately hide myself using the book I'm holding.
"Good morning chubby!" napakurap ako at napabuga ng marahas. Argh! Here goes the feeling close, Clark Trevor. I pretended I didn't heard him and focus on the book I was reading.
"Ano 'yan?" tanong niya ng makaupo siya sa tabi ko.
"None of your business." I said. He just laugh and took the book from my hand.
"Give me the book Mr. Trevor." I said. He just laugh and mess my hair. I give him a glare but then again, he laugh. What's funny?
I accidentally look at the mean girls and all of them are looking at me. They're raising one of their brows. I just shook my head mentally. Here they goes. I just took the my science book and review in advance.
I heard ma'am Janine will give us a short quiz today.
"Bait talaga. Bigyan mo ako ng answer mamaya ah?" 'di ko pinansin ang katabi ko at nag focus nalang sa binabasa.
"Clark? Punta ako sa section one. Sama ka?" tanong ni Rod sa katabi kong akala mo naman ay nag aaral dahil seryoso ang mukhang nakatingin sa libro.
"Pass pre." aniya.
"Bahala ka." ani nito at tumayo. Nicholai was reading the science book as well. I smile because I saw how serious his face was. I sigh.
He's the real definition of the word "handsome". How can he have a muscled arm? We're still grade six for pete's sake!
I saw Jenny stood up and went beside Nicholai's chair.
Nicholai, as a gentleman, stop reading his book and give Jen some space.
I heard that Nicholai was courting her but I don't know if it's true 'cause wala namang nagbago sa kanya.
"Sweet talaga." I heard from the guy besides me.
"Sinabi ko naman kasi sa'yong tayo nalang eh." kinunotan ko ng noo si Clark dahil sa sinabi niya. Was he talking to me?
Tumingin siya sa akin. "Ayaw mo no'n? May gwapo kanang jowa, meron ka pang tagalibre. Laki pa naman ng kain mo." I give his stomach a punch but as usual, he just laugh.
I don't understand this guy at all. Hindi naman kami magkaibigan pero kung maka-akto kala mo naman close kami?
Kaya siguro galit sa akin si Agnes. Crush kasi niya ang gunggong na 'to.
Ma'am came after 20 minutes. My classmates arrived not so long later and then after a minute ay nagsimula ng mag discuss si ma'am.
The usual, ma'am asked my other classmates some questions before starting our short quiz.
After answering, Clark took my paper and kumopya ng sagot ko. Ma'am said pass the papers. I grab mine from Clark after he finished.
We checked the papers and I'm happy because I got the perfect score. Hindi lang ako. Pati rin si Nicholai, Sherly and Bea. And also, Trevor.
After the first subject ay free kami sa second subject dahil nag leave si ma'am Hazel. I went to the garden at the back of the kindergarten's classroom.
The wind was refreshing so I decided to stay there and continue the story of Candice and Jeydon.
While reading, I heard someone coming to the garden. I groaned mentally kasi alam kung mag iingay sila. I heard familiar voices and I recognized it was Rod and Clark. What are they doing here?
I'm sure Nicholai is with them.
'Di lang nagsasalita. Kailan pa sila pumupunta sa garden?
"Chubs!" dang you, Clark!
Tumayo ako at inayos ang mga gamit ko. "Where punta mo?" tanong niya.
"None of your business." I said. He just give me a smile and then put his arm around my shoulders.
"The heck are you doing?" I asked him silently, almost a whisper.
"I love you too, chubs..." The hell?!
"Sana all." nanlaki ang mata ko sa sinabi ni Rod. Tinulak ko si Clark na tumatawa at akmang aalis ng makita ko si Nicholai na nakatitig sa akin. Sheet na malupit!
"I didn't know you guys are together." he said which made me curse a lot. We are not together!!!
I want to tell him but no words came out from my mouth. Instead, I walk away nervously. Dang you heart! Dang you for being weak in front of Nicholai Herrera.
