TEARDROPS OF TOMORROW

Prologue

SUN. Sun always makes my day before. Before i left my hometown, before I left my family, before I decided to let go for good. All of that for one reason, he fucking cheated on me.

Fuck everything that he said! Hanggang ngayon ay ‘di parin ako nakaka move on.

He's nothing but a liar and a cheater. I hate myself dahil hanggang ngayon ay hindi parin ako maka move on sa kanya. Siguro gusto ko siyang saktan at tanungin kung bakit nagawa niya akong lukuhin sa panahong kinailangan ko siya ng sobra.

I should be staying in my condo right now. Eating noodles mixing it with raw eggs and watching series from netflix. Not driving the car i rented for the next weeks I'll be staying here in my hometown. I didn't wanna come back here. I swear to myself that i won't. But then... i have to.

I heard he's here. The famous engineer of the country, Mr. Perfectly fine. Bwesit! Until now, I can still remember the last time i seen his face. He was all over the fucking internet. He was seen dating Catsiyah. One of the highest paid model of all time. Akala ko ba naging sila ni Tyrone? Siguro babaero talaga siya at sinungaling.

He was wearing a white polo and his hair was abit messy. He looked like he just finished doing something stressful before going to that date. Deserve niya! Argh! Bakit ba iniisip ko parin siya?

Napatalon ako bahagya ng biglang tumigil sa sasakyan ko. Shit! May nabunggo ako!

"Putang-argh!" agad kong hinampas ang ulo ko sa manibela. Takte! Ba't di ako tumitingin sa dinadaanan ko? Lintik na Nicholai kasi ‘yan!

"Fuck!" I heard the driver of the other car said. Sobrang lutong nong mura takte! Natatakot ako!

"Get out of the car miss." he said. I bit my lip. Iniangat ko ang ulo ko bahagya pero 'di tiningnan ang driver kasi natatakot akong makita ang mukha niya. He's probably looking at me with a deadly glare.

Lumabas ako ng kotse. "Are you gonna keep looking at the road huh? You know what you did to my car? I have to get to my important meeting but then you ruined my car so now I'm late. Look at me." I nervously raise my head and immediately regretted when I did.

Fucking hell!

"Nic..." he said almost a whisper. I smile bitterly. "Nic... Nobody calls me like that anymore. I don't allow no one. Anyway, I will pay for the damaged i caused. I'm sorry for wasting your time. I will pay for the damages. How much do you think it is? A hundred thousand? A half million?" i took my phone.

"Nic..." I sigh harshly. "I will pay you using a cheque-"

"No." he said. "No, I will pay. I'm sorry if I ruined your car and if i am the reason for you being late on your meeting. I will pay for the damages. How much do i owe you?" i look at him straight in the eye and all he did was stare at me, as if he misses me. Fuck! I hate this. He's a fucking liar, Nicole.

"Actually, you know what-" I open the door of my car and i took my bag from the passenger's seat. I search for my cheque and i wrote a million.

My heart was beating rapidly and i hate it. My hands started to shake as i sign the cheque. He suddenly held my shaky hand and i harshly push his hand away from mine.

"You are not allowed to touch me. Here's the cheque, if it's not enough." i hand him a card and the cheque and he was just standing there like a statue. "Call me, I'll pay more if i have to."

"Nic..." I enter the car and drove immediately, away from him. Away from the guy i once loved the most.
