Chapter Thirty Three

NICHOLAI

Breaktime came. I want to talk to her. I was about to go to their seat when suddenly Jenny pulled me with her. “W-what are you doing?”

She smiled and said. “Ililibre kita.” i shook my head. “No. I can by own snack.” she shook her head. “Sige na, Nicholai. Gusto kitang kasama. Turuan mo rin ako sa math.” i sigh. If it's not for ma'am Rhona, i wouldn't even lay an eye on her. “Fine.” nilingon ko si Nicole and i saw her looking at me.

Clark followed me and he was smiling. “Yo guys!”

“What did you talk with her?” he seems confused. “Who? Oh, you probably meant Nicole. I think i made her piss. She looks cute. I like her. Teka nga lang.” umalis siya at tumakbo sa canteen, si Jenny naman ay hinila ako sa gilid.

“D'yan ka lang, bibili ako.” hindi ako nagsalita. I just keep looking at Nicole. She seems aloof. Okay lang ba siya?

Tatayo sana ako ng tumakbo si Clark sa kanya with snacks. Does he really like her? That quick?

I can't believe this. Hindi niya ba ako papansinin? She look at me. Not even a smile, Nic?

She ignore Clark but Clark is not Clark if he can't do what he wants. I hate this. I stood up. “Nicholai, let's start?” i sigh deeply and sat again.

Kinahapunan ay sasabay sana ako ng uwi sa kanila kaso ay sinundo ako ni papa ‘saka ang pamangkin ko. At sila Nicole ay pumunta sa Lola nila. Sana bukas ay makalapit ako sa kanya.

But no... I can't, i tried many times but i couldn't. I didn't have the strength.

So, all i did was to look at her secretly. Naiinis ako sa ibang kaklase ko. They kept bullying her, she's even prettier than them. Bulag yata sila. I literally almost beg ma'am Rhona that i don't want to teach Jenny because no matter how hard i explain she couldn't understand.

Mabuti pa si Nicole.

Napalingon ako sa kanya, she's reading a book, a fictional book. I noticed she's been reading different kind of books since she started studying here. “Chubs, pahiram ako ng assignment mo ha?” hindi naman sumagot si Nicole. She seems used to him. Sana makapal din ang mukha ko kagaya ni Clark.

Bigla namang lumapit si Jenny sa akin. What does she wants this time?

“Nicholai, last na ‘to, pwede mo ba akong turuan ng multiplication?” i sigh and nod. I gave her a space and teach her for the nth time. Pero di ko mapigilang mapalingon sa kanila. Clark kept pestering Nicole, i hate it. I want her attention to me, not him.

Nang dumating ang breaktime ay nakita ko siyang tumungo sa garden, i was about to walk there when Rod and Clark followed me.

“Sama kami, Lai. Saan ka pupunta?” tanong ni Rod.

“Sa garden, halata naman ‘di ba?” pang aasar ni Clark.

Nauna silang maglakad sa akin kaya no choice. Baka bwesitin na naman ni Clark si Nicole.

"Chubs!" My brows furrowed. Ang sarap batukan ni Clark.

"Where punta mo?" He asked. What? You're friends now?

"None of your business." she said. Please, make him go away, Nic before i kick his ass. Clark wrapped his arms on her shoulders and says; "I love you too, chubs..."
