"We might reach Loguetown in a day or two if we keep sailing at this pace." You said as you flicked your finger on the navigation spell you use. "I'll set my ship in auto pilot mode so we won't be continuously watching the helm."
Loki mewed to what you had said.
"Since I had casted the protection spell around my ship, we should be fine not encountering any sea monsters and warn us of incoming enemies." You grinned. "Being a witch has some massive perks!" Giving a big thumbs up, you were proud of your work. Comically, sparkles appear around you with your big grin.
The big cat rolled his eyes at your childishness. The weather was great again today, so sailing will be easy. The cat couldn't wait to sleep; basking in the wind and sun with the scent of the sea that brings him calmness. Loki admittedly was enjoying the sailing life with his master.
"While I was doing research, I read that there's a way to go to the Grand Line safely." Loki's ears perked up a little, now interested as to what you have to say about it. "I just need permission from the officials in charge to do so and Loguetown is the perfect place to ask. Loguetown is the place where many people gather around to enter the ruthless sea." Listening to your narration, Loki just nodded along.
"Or..." You drawled out. Pondered, the big cat raised his bushy eyebrows.
You suggested a bold move. "We could take the 'more' adventurous route...." That made the familiar shake his head in denial real quick. Most of your ideas are either on the scale of 'hey, you have a brain.' or 'please rethink your life.' types of choices. That is Loki's interpretation anyways.
Seeing his denial, you sighed. "Fine, there's a third option though and it does require magic."
'Which is?' Loki huffed.
"Going through the Calm Belt." He glanced at you with an expression, 'are you serious?' which made you laugh.
"Now hear me out. Yes, the Calm Belt is also another dangerous route to take but after doing some research. I discovered that there is a way to go through it safely. However, this process requires an ore that isn't easily obtained." The ore you were talking about is the Sea Stone mineral. An interesting mineral that projects the same aura as the ocean.
"But with similar effects that I've already installed in our ship, it should be fine passing through there." You pulled out the world map off your side and opened it.
Pointing towards the straight line where the Calm Belt is, you continued explaining. "The process of asking the officials might take weeks as I gathered so the only easy and fastest way to go through the Grand Line-is the Reverse Mountain..." You pointed to the mountain in the middle. "Or the Calm Belt."
"So pick your poison Loki!" You exclaimed.
He rolled his eyes as you approached him. Showing the map right in front of his face. Using his sharp nail, he pointed out the choice of sail course. You nodded at his decision. "So, that is! I'm thinking the same since it would be more convenient."
