"Vice-Admiral Barrow has arrived!"
The marines quickly all in line to make a path for the arriving higher up. They had contacted him two days ago and informed him of the infamous Spade Pirates arriving at the island. Once and for all, they would be able to capture the notorious Fire Fist Ace.
A middle-ranking marine approached the Vice-Admiral who had just stepped foot on the docks. He saluted in greeting. "Welcome the Navy Base #25: Abanay Island! We're so glad you are able to help us capture the pirates roaming around here."
The Vice-Admiral grinned. "I can't wait." As the officer led him inside the base, the others in line dispersed, following behind them. Standing at six feet, the Vice-Admiral towered over everyone around him, his commanding presence filling the room. Even the officer guiding him toward the office couldn't help but feel a sense of inferiority in the shadow of his stature.
The officer coughed slightly, gaining the higher-up's attention as his sharp eyes narrowed, observing the man before him. "Sir, I am just curious about your...ability..." His tone was casual, but there was a subtle edge of wanting answers. "From the rumors, you make pirates go crazy and fool their minds to kill themselves. Is it true?"
The man smirked faintly, tilting his head. "Depends on how strong their will is." Slowly, he raised his hand, the air around him shifting as he began to demonstrate his ability. The officer couldn't help but gawk a little as the surroundings blurred, fading in and out of focus.
"Minds are fragile little things. One messy memory, and it could wire their brain, make them lose themselves."

Ace did in fact, kept his promise—to hang out with you for the next two days of your stay here in Abanay.
And along with his promise, he tried to keep you to himself. He would always interrupt your time with his crewmates—to which they were annoyed about his childish antics. Despite that, you still give your time equally to all your new friends. Especially with Banshee, as she's one of the few women you made friends with for a very long time. She was getting tired of the testosterone around her and she was happy to have a female friend to hang out with.
