Loki jumped towards her favorite spot of the ship, the crow's nest, to look out for any lands and vessels they might come across. It has been so long since he viewed such sights. It was rare to come across a world where they traveled by water. And those travels aren't as permanent as this one. While Loki was on the lookout, you were currently doing some experiments with the herbs of this world and the previous ones.
Back to his duty, Loki's eyes wandered the ocean until she saw approaching fast. He jumped down from his seat and went to peek at the telescope. The first thing he saw through the telescope was a Jolly Roger. 'Pirates...' Their Jolly Roger was a grinning skull and crossbones wearing an orange cowboy hat, it had two circles on top of it, one with a smile and the other a frown and flames protruding from it. The background of the skull is a spade, and the word 'SPADE' is beneath it.
"That's an excessive design of a jolly roger..." Loki sweatdropped and sighed. "She better hear this." He runs towards the bell that you have set up just earlier. He pulled the rope with his mouth and rang vigorously.
In your workshop, you blended various exotic herbs with the hope that they wouldn't become toxic. You were attempting to craft a unique composition of a medication, which is analgesics, commonly used for relieving pain and reducing fever. "If this goes well, this would be five times more effective than my previous one. If one would take this, they would recover in hours." You smiled at the possible result.
But before you could continue, you heard the bell ringing. You stopped. "What is it now?" You burst out of your workshop and went up towards the deck. The gleaming sun greeted you firsthand before you looked around for your familiar. "LOKI! Where are you?"
"Up here!" He roared back.
You glanced upward to find him prepared to leap down from the crow's nest. Stepping back, you realized that if you hadn't moved, he might have landed on you.
"What is it?" You asked.
"Pirates. Coming this way. I can't wait to fight them off." Loki smirked.
"Our first raid. Hopefully, this won't be much trouble." You sighed.

"Are you sure they would lend us anything?" The second mate crossed his arms, unsure about their decision to approach this unique ship. A hybrid of a ship and a house—now that was a first for everyone.
"C'mon Deuce! We've been starving for days, and need some materials to repair the ship! It will take two more days before we see an island!" The flame captain pouted. A tick mark appeared on the second mate's head.
"WHOSE FAULT FOR EATING ALL THE FOOD THAT WE STORED AND RECKLESSLY FOUGHT WITH THE MARINES!?" He snapped. The rest of the crew just sighed and some just chuckled at their dispute. The captain just grinned and mumbled out a half-hearted apology. The second mate took a deep breath and calmed himself down. He turned to look at your ship. "This ship doesn't seem to be a pirate ship, it doesn't have a Jolly Roger on it after all."
