You hummed softly along with the tune playing in the background by the antique vinyl gramophone you had for a long time. Humming along with the soft tunes, you were currently cooking lunch for everyone. The delicious and aromatic scent wafts around the house. Having a small audience, Loki was wagging his tail, hungrily waiting by the doorway making you chuckle.
"Just a bit longer Loki."
Loki huffs in response, still in his spot. You continued to do your own thing.
It has been four days since all of you set sailed with your new friends on the ship. Luckily the bounty hunter duo, Johnny and Yosaku knows their navigation around letting them be in-charge of sailing the ship until they got into an island.
As for you, you did your usual routines minus the sailing, like domestic housework and studies. Yes, studies. You quite frankly enjoy doing so if the books pique your interests and since you are now in the new world, you need to get to know much of it when you can. As for the men's routine, they would usually be out in the deck navigating or even Zoro trains the duo to be stronger.
Whilst with the household chores, politely the men offered to do so in exchange for letting them stay. They admit that it has been a while for them sleeping on a comfortable bed and delicious food and you were glad to offer that. They help you as much as they can but you mostly handle it like a girlboss that you are.
Ah yes, your housewife instinct kicking in. But still they were pretty much extra help around the house.
Funny thing also is that Zoro would sometimes get lost on your homely abode that you had to lock some doors so that he won't get into some of your private stuff. Or even that one time he almost walked in on you changing but luckily you had finished dressing up at that time. You already know he didn't mean it but you were relieved he didn't see it.
You admit that the house is quite big, but getting lost in it? You question this man's survival and luck out in the sea.
They were certain times you would spend each individual alone. Like Yosaku would share their bounty hunter adventure and even inform you some of the criminals to avoid as possible, Johnny would help you mostly with some of the house chores sometimes along with you both shared information you needed and Zoro would offer to train you to which you accepted. It had sharpened and familiarize your fighting and defensive skills once again thanks to him.
Overall, the past few days passed by in a flash.
Back to your cooking, you were making a special lunch that all of you would eat outside since it was announced this morning that it was estimated that all of you were arriving by an island by night. You were downhearted that they were leaving...but that's life. But you were positive also that you would see them again eventually.
The menu for today is Beef Kaldereta. It is a type of beef stew cooked with tomato sauce and liver spread. Ingredients such as beef, potato, carrots, bell peppers, and olives utilized when cooking this dish. Comes along with the main dish was plain white rice. A perfect combo. You also prepared side dish salad called Hearty Tuna Salad for a balanced meal. For the drinks, you just prepared another batch of alcohol and water for sober.
