"It seems we are lucky today. Don't worry about them, we'll deal with those pirates...."
You raised your eyebrow. "And in return?"
He grinned. "Just three crates of food."
"Deal!" You smiled. "By the way, who are you?" You cocked your head to the side curiously. The freckled man grinned widely.
"Hmm? My name's is Portgas D. Ace. Nice to meet you too, nice lady!"

"Portgas D. Ace...AH! He's the guy from the newspaper back then." You smacked your fist into the palm of your hand in sudden realization. That was a long time ago now.
"Are you really gonna trust that guy?" Loki snarled. You rolled your eyes. You aren't that foolish to trust these men in the first place. Especially these men are pirates.
"I'm not saying we're trusting him. I'm bargaining with him." You remarked with a nonchalant shrug. As if to dismiss your familiar's worries, your hand sliced through the air in a dismissive wave.
"Moreover, considering we're aiming for subtlety, this is my way of doing so. Not picking fights unless it's absolutely necessary. What happened to that, hmm?" Your eyebrows lifted, silently prompting him for a response.
Loki fell into a brief silence before emitting a scoff. "Consider my previous statement retracted. After what happened in Loguetown, I'm itching for more fights."
"What?!" You sputtered out in shock. "Where did this new attitude come from?"
Loki let out a sigh. "I've realized that I've lost some of my strength. Domestic life and living up to their societal standards, screw all that. From now on, to hell with subtlety." His response caught you off guard. Ignoring the screams and cries, the clashing of swords and guns going off, you scoot closer to Loki. His gaze remained fixed ahead, the flames casting a reflection in his golden eyes. "Moreover, we keep hearing those stories in the Grand Line. One thing for sure is to never let your guard down...well, it's always been our approach when we come across different worlds."
