"Is that too much?"

"I have one hungry cat back home, trust me this is enough for me and him." You both had different reactions to the full cart of meat, Smoker with a deadpan expression and you simply smiling as you were used to it.

"This would last us for days, which is good! I read the Grand Line can be tough navigating, so we might not locate islands in some days." You pushed the cart forward towards the counter to pay. The marine stilled in his place.

"Grand Line?!"

You stopped when you heard his raised voice, in disbelief upon what you had just said. You glance over to your shoulder and grin. "Didn't I say I want to explore the whole world? The Grand Line is a part of it." You watched as his eyebrows furrowed. This was your first time seeing the marine being so expressive.

"Are you hearing yourself? Don't you know that place isn't a tourist spot?"

You nod. "I'm aware." No one could stupidly step onto the Grand Line without studying it. You studied how everything works at that sea and its dangers. You became fully aware of what might await you there. You are aware that even death could finally catch up to you when you enter the dangerous sea. You were used to it. Death would always come knocking on your doors, but you refused to let them in.

Or if death finally knocked down your doors, you don't mind accepting them in. That's just an inevitable fate.

You faced forward. "Are you going to stop me?" You were met by a deafening silence. Not even his words could stop you know. You already have set your heart and mind to that place ever since you've heard of the place. It was the perfect place for a mysterious phenomena like you.

Smoker let out a puff of smoke then answered your question. "No. In the end, it is not any of my business."

You turned around to face him with a wide smile as your skirt twirled by the sudden movement. You were quite satisfied with his answer. "Hey, I might not look like it but I'm strong."

"Hmph."

You chuckled lowly at how he was not convinced enough of your statement. "You speak as if you've been there. Have you, Smoker?" Tension was long gone before you knew it, as Smoker walked besides you as you both went to the counter.
