It has been a week since what happened. The island was at peace once more thanks to you and Nami. Speaking of that girl, she left— leaving a note behind with simple words of gratitude and a bag filled with treasure which you only took twenty percent of. The rest of the treasure was given back to the citizens since it actually belongs to them in the first place.
Not only that, a few men of the city left days ago with the beaten and tied up sea dogs crew to be detained by the marines and get the captain's bounty cash. The money will benefit them more in making repairs around the city caused by the destruction of the pirates.
Those who were in the ship's prison who were almost going to be trafficked, were saved from the cells. Luca and his mother are fine now and as always happy. Because of that, they gave you free supplies for gratitude and every shop in the city you went in to buy stuff you wanted, they only gave the price for free. "The pirates keep the world balanced, heh. Interesting." You murmured. Turning to another page, you see pictures of the previous ones and the ones who are in power today. Their names written below each picture and their current bounties. This book must have been recently published since it provided great information.
Something caught your eye at the familiar name that someone said to you. Or rather to look out for. "So, he's one of the Warlords. Quite a dangerous guy Zoro is looking for." There's much more information about him in this book. Your eyes widened in surprise every time at each of the tales of this man.
Shaking your head in disbelief, you continued skimming through the book. You didn't notice how the skies turned orange and the number of books that had been piling up beside you as you were too invested and focused on reading.
That is until someone was tapping on your shoulder, making you jump slightly in surprise and turn to the person behind you. It was the librarian, who is another sweet old lady. She gave you a smile. "I'll be closing in five minutes, dear."
"Oh, sorry about that." You apologized. You closed your book and put it into the pile. You sweatdropped seeing the amount. Three stacks, each stack has ten books. So that is around thirty-three books you read today.
'Still less than my best record.' You snickered.
"Sorry, but can I have some more time to put these books back on their shelves?" You asked the librarian.
