Ep. 24: Feisty But Lovely

Inside a little restaurant, Seokhoon, along with Minhyuk and Seojun minus Jung Hyun were having their mini hangout session since it has been quite some time already since they last saw each other.

Being busy with their respective careers, they did not have much chance to hangout with each other as much as they did before when they were still in college.

Drinking on his glass of fruit juice, Seojun gulped down all of its contents in one go and let out satisfied sigh afterwards.

This kind of hangout is so much better than getting drunk at the bar.

While chewing on his food, Minhyuk nodded in agreement and replied.

I know right. Too bad Jung Hyun didn't join us tonight.

Silently rolling his eyes, Seojun looked at Minhyuk and replied in a sarcastic manner.

You know him, Minhyuk. Jung Hyun would choose getting drunk on the bar while hooking up with some random woman in a heartbeat than to be on this hangout session with us three.

Remembering how Jung Hyun tried to convince Seokhoon to come with him at the bar, Minhyuk lets out a frustrated sigh and responded.

Yeah. It was quite annoying that he was trying to drag Seokhoon with him at the bar despite of knowing the fact that Seokhoon is already engaged. Sometimes, I wonder why he became our friend.

But before Seojun could even speak, Seokhoon, who wass eating samgyupsal, inserted

I don't know what's up with that punk's brain. I told him to stop doing such stupid shits but he doesn't listen. Oh well, I don't care if he keeps on inviting me. Besides, I'll not go no matter how much he tries.

Hearing this statement from their friend, Minhyuk and Seojun were extremely happy with his progress and change. Within the three months he got engaged with Rona, the two noticed how happy and glowing Seokhoon looked.

The old Seokhoon who usually spends his free time at the bar is now starting to become a responsible man who is dedicated in making his work life, home life, family life, and most of all, his love life happy and prosperous.

The old Seokhoon who was busy hooking with different woman almost every night is now busy caring for the only woman who was able to tame the wild beast in him.

Seokhoon's change definitely made the two of them happy. At least, Seokhoon is starting to walk towards the right path already.

Joo Seokhoon, that was the weirdest yet the most amazing words I've ever heard from you! If someone told me that you'll become like this three months ago, I would have not believed it!

Seojun exclaimed with surprise and amazement in his voice.

Rolling his eyes at his friend, Seokhoon drank on his glass of cold water and smirked afterwards.

You see boys, that is what love does even to the 'hopeless case' type of person like me.

Letting out a sigh, he slightly leaned his body on his chair before continuing.

I never knew Rona would have a great impact on me. In fact, I even thought of continuing my bad habit of hooking up with some random woman at the bar at first despite of being engaged with her and use her as my coverup to my parents.

Staring at the ring in his hands, he smiled and went on.

But after spending some time with her, I found her very addicting. Her every reactions to my silly deeds are so amusing. The way her face scrunches everytime I annoy her, the way she gets flustered everytime I use my flirty antics with her, the way how she handles things just proves how strong and independent of a woman she is, and the way she silently takes care of me, I never felt anything like this before.
