Ep. 16: Obsessions

For our showbiz news, the famous actress Bae Rona announced her engagement with the son of the JK Holdings CEO, Joo Seokhoon. According to reports, the 26-year old actress and the young businessman who is also 26, met each other through their families. The two developed feelings for each other and just recently, the young businessman proposed to the actress privately and are now preparing for their upcoming wedding which will be held in few months. Not being able to handle what she heard in the news, Eunbyeol pressed the remote control of the TV harshly and threw it across the room, breaking one of the vases inside the living room.

ARRRRRGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She screamed so loud due to the frustration, jealousy, and anger she felt towards her half-sister for stealing another person she wanted to be in her life and started to throw things around, making a mess in the once organized living room.

Of all the men she could ever marry, why does it have to be Seokhoon? Why does it have to be the man I like? She stole everything from me; my appa, my awards in school, my fame, and now, Seokhoon?! Why should it be him?! Why does she have to steal everything from me?! Why?!

She started to tear up and sat down on the floor while hugging her knees.

All these years, she only loved Seokhoon. It has been years ever since she had a week-long relationship with Seokhoon but ever since then, she never found herself moving on from that brief fling they had in the past.

She can still clearly remember how he made out with her inside the storage room of their high school. She can still recall the hot kisses they've shared and how they've touched each other's body that day. She found him very addicting and even thought of giving her all to him but before she could even do that, he broke up with her and left her hanging.

She didn't know where she lacked. She didn't know where she went wrong. She used to  fantasize of having a family with him and being the mother of his children but everything was shattered when he decided it was over for the both of them.

From the other room, her mother, Cheon Seojin, got startled with the sound of things being broken in the living room, she rushed towards there and saw her daughter crying while hugging her knees.

Eunbyeol-ah, what's wrong? Why are you breaking all the stuffs inside the living room, huh?!

Seojin asked her daughter.

Eomma, Bae Rona is getting married with Joo Seokhoon.

What?!

Seojin's eyes widened in surprise.

She knew how much her daughter likes the son of her ex-fling during their college days, Joo Dantae. As much as she hates to see her daughter sharing the same fate with her of being obsessed with a guy, she can't do anything but to stare at her daughter.

Like her, she used to be obsessed with Joo Dantae after their brief fling with each other which also lasted for merely one week. She followed him, stalked him and even blackmailed him just to have him but everything shattered when she learned about his engagement with Shim Suryeon, the daughter of a chaebol which also happened to be her batchmate in high school.
