Ep. 26: Calm Before The Storm

Inside a car, Ha Eunbyeol who is currently on her way to a photoshoot, was talking to someone on her phone.

Yes, Bae Rona is having her photoshoot for a cosmetic product today with me. I was so lucky that my appa got to convince the cosmetic company to make me become one of their models. We're one step closer to executing our plans against her.

The man from the other side of the line lets out an exhausted sigh maybe because he was getting nervous and troubled especially about the possible consequences of their actions. He knows how much Ha Eunbyeol hates Bae Rona but he didn't expect her to go this far.

Are you really sure about this? You might get in trouble for this, you know?

Eunbyeol rolled her eyes at what she heard.

Remember about your mother's medication that I'll be funding for. Are you doing this one or not? You can back out but expect the worst to come for your mother. I'm sure you will not like that.

The man knew that if he didn't do what Eunbyeol wanted him to do, his mother will not be treated from her sickness and will eventually suffer even more in the hospital. He din't want that to happen. This might be very wrong but he had to do it not for himself but for his mother.

With a deep breath, he shook his head and replied

I....... I will do it. But I was just worried what if we get caught? Who knows about the possibilities, right? At least we have to be prepared.

Don't worry about anything for now. You have to focus on how to make the plan work out properly. If we do everything well, I'm sure no one will know about the truth. I need to get everything that she has stolen away from me back. My appa, my fame, my career, my wealth, and most especially, my man. That bitch needs to learn her lesson and today will be the start of her downfall.

Eunbyeol smirked as she ended her statement.

The man on the other line just shook his head and clenched his fist a little on what Eunbyeol was planning to do to Bae Rona. He wondered as to how Eunbyeol could take doing such a disgusting thing to Bae Rona. Even he himself wanted to puke at her plans.

But he had no choice but to do it or else, his mother will suffer from her sickness.

So how can I enter the studio without having the people around there doubt about my identity?

Eunbyeol clicked her tongue and rolled her eyes silently in her seat befor replying.

Simple! I'll introduce you as one of my staffs. Anyway, I only have my manager with me since the wardrobe and makeup artist for this shoot is on the cosmetics company to shoulder. I'll introduce you as my personal assistant.

The man on the other side of the line lets out a deep sigh and in his low but obviously nervous voice, he told the woman.

Just make sure that you got everything planned out right. I don't want to go to jail.

Not wanting to hear his rants and worries, Eunbyeol shook her head and replied to him.

Yeah, yeah whatever. See you on the set. Byeeee!

She immediately pressed the end call button and took a sip from her favorite lemonade. Already thinking about the success of her plans as early as now, Eunbyeol smirked and silently told to herself.

Get ready, Bae Rona. Expect the worst to come on your way. You deserve everything that will happen to you later on. This is for stealing everything I treasure the most away from me, especially Seokhoon. You will never have him because he is mine and mine alone!

Rona, alongside with her manager, are now riding a van towards the studio where her photoshoot for a cosmetic product will take place.

Her manager, who was driving the van frowned and grumbled about the fact that her talent will be joining the brat Ha Eunbyeol once again for this photoshoot.

I'm so annoyed with the fact that that talentless, know-it-all, and ill-mannered brat will be joining you in this photoshoot once again. I bet it was her rich and influential stepfather who made this possible for her. Rona-yah, if you feel uncomfortable being with her, you can always back out on this.

Rona looked at her manager and just shrugged her shoulders before letting out a smile.

If I back out, that would be so unprofessional of me. We already agreed on this a month ago and I know that Eunbyeol is doing this on purpose. If she thinks I'll back out just because of her, then she's wrong. She should seriously try harder.

While still looking on the road, her manager nodded her head and asked her.

Does your fiancé know about Eunbyeol bothering you?

Rona suddenly thought about the fact that her fiancé had a very brief fling with her stepsister during High School. Even though these things were already matters of the past, she couldn't help but feel slightly jealous at the thought of them together, making out, or even doing that deed even if she knows that it was all games for Seokhoon back then.

Answering her manager's question, Rona shook her head and sighed.

No, he doesn't. I haven't told him anything about her. Besides, she's way too irrelevant and unnecessary in our relationship.

Hmmmmmm....... you're right.

There was a brief moment of silence that lingered inside the van but the silence was broken as soon as Rona's manager began to speak.

Anyways, how are things going for you and that hunk CEO fiancé of yours?

Rona blushed at the question and smiled. She can still clearly remember how the both of them have confessed about their feelings for each other few days ago.

I and Seokhoon are doing fine, Eonnie. There's only three months left before our wedding so the both of us are busy with it aside from our jobs.

Her manager smirked at her playfully and responded.

Don't forget to send me an invitation to your wedding, alright?

Rona laughed at her manager's remarks and afterwards, she replied.

Of course, Eonnie! You're one of my bridesmaids how can I not give you one?

Her manager looked at her in surprise and widened her eyes at her.

Rona just smiled at her manager.

But honestly, I was shocked when I knew about your engagement with a charbol's son. And in fairness, he's like he emerged from a webtoon or something. He could easily pass a model, idol, or even an actor with his stunning visuals! You two will surely have good looking kids in the future. I envy you a lot!

Rona pouted her lips a little and frowned at her manager playfully.

We're not yet even married but you're already thinking about our future kids. Hmp.

HAHAHAHAHA! That's because you two look so good together, Rona-yah. I thought I like Minhyuk the best for you but after seeing that hot hunk fiancé of yours, I've changed my mind.

Rona rolled her eyes and replied

You and your habit of shipping me with every single guys out there.

But at least I am shipping you now with your fiancé!

The two of them laughed and within a short period of time, they arrived at the studio where the photoshoot is about to be held.
