Rona, Jenni and Minhyuk continued talking about random things inside the VVIP area while laughing and bickering at times until they heard a staff shouting outside.
What is that?
Rona asked.
I don't know. Come on guys, let us see what is happening there.
Jenni said.
Wondering what the commotion is all about, the trio went outside of the VVIP area and headed to the main cafe area for regular guests.
Yah, ahjussi! I told you selling of stuffs inside this cafe is not allowed! You're distracting our customers and our boss might scold us if we allow you to do so!
The cafe staff who was looking at the middle-aged man around his 50's with a sassy expression said while shooing him away outside the cafe.
Please, ma'am. Buying even one of these key chains would help me and my family a lot. I've recently lost my job as a messenger at Ha Incorporated and this is the only way I can feed my family while I'm still looking for a new job. Please, ma'am. These are very cheap.
The cafe staff rolled her eyes at the man and said
Are you that dumb to not understand that selling stuffs is not allowed here? If you don't want to go outside the cafe, fine! I'll just call the guards to send you away. You're testing my patience!
She glanced at the guards who were at the door.
Guards, please bring this man outside the cafe! He is bothering not only the customers but the staffs as well. Please take him away!
She shouted.
The guards immediately went inside the cafe and grabbed his arms rather harshly. They were supposed to take him away when Jenni shouted at them, stopping them from bringing the man outside.
Yah! Get your hands off the man!
The other guards released their grip on the poor man. The head guard noticed this and frowned at them, then at Jenni.
Excuse me, miss. We only follow the orders of the manager, not of guests like you. Boys, hold him!
The newbie head guard, who apparently started just that day, spoke arrogantly.
The cafe staff, which was the manager, the other guards who did not follow his orders, as well as Rona and Minhyuk widened their eyes from what they heard.
The staff was about to reprimand the newbie guard when Jenni scoffed and looked at him with a sassy expression.
I see. Someone here wants to lose their job as well. If you were to choose between the owner and the manager which is also an employee, which one will you follow?
Realizing what Jenni has said, the head guard let go of the man and knelt in front of her.
Sorry, ma'am. I didn't know you were the owner of this cafe. Please forgive me. I promise to work harder in the future. I'm so sorry ma'am.
Jenni just shook her head and simply said to the other guards
Get back to your work. And you.......
She pointed at the head guard who was still kneeling in front of her.
