Ep. 43: Trust

Days after meeting Yoon Ki, things went pretty well for the couple. Even if he was initially against the idea at first, he knew that it would be right to tell Rona about the whole truth. After having their dinner that very night, they both had a heart-to-heart talk and to his relief, Rona was actually happy and relieved that nothing actually happened between her and the man. She was so happy to know that it was actually Seokhoon who got her first and all her anxiety and fear got washed out in an instant.

He was so glad that Rona was now shedding tears of happiness and relief, not of worry and trauma. He was so glad that his girl is finally coming out of the dark phase she was in and was now ready to face another without fear and anxiety. He was glad that Rona is slowly regaining her old self once again and is now smiling a lot more.

About the mastermind who was behind all of these, Seokhoon and Dantae chose not to act against her yet and have her every actions monitored. Even if they wanted to make her pay for everything she has done to Rona, they thought that it would be wiser to keep things slow and surprise her with what they are about to do to her. They are the Joo family and no one should dare to mess up with a Joo or to anyone related to them.

The couple are currently making kimbap inside the kitchen and as usual, Rona looking like a legit wife was the one making the kimbap while Seokhoon observed her intently as she makes the kimbap and occasionally stuffs his mouth with it.

How does it taste, hubby?

Rona asked her soon-to-be husband whose face currently looks like that of a chipmunk eating a nut.

It's delicious, wifey. I seriously like how you make it. The cooks at the Penthouse should seriously take cooking lessons with you. How do you make everything taste so good?

Rona chuckled at his remark and playfully rolled her eyes.

Tch. You don't have to flatter me like that.

Seokhoon grinned playfully and pulled her closer to him by her waist.

Then how do you want me to prove to you that what I am saying is true?

He leaned towards her ears and using his sexy voice, he whispered.

Rona looked at him with an angry expression that made Seokhoon chuckle nervously.

She rolled her eyes at him continued to make kimbap. Honestly, Rona was so used to Seokhoon's perverted nature that comes up at very random times. Whenever Seokhoon is being naughty, Rona would eventually respond to it by her sassiness and that alone is enough to make him back off.

After finishing making kimbap, the couple washed themselves and prepared for to do their own stuffs for the day. Seokhoon decided not to come at the company today and just finish going over the paperwork he had at his office inside their home. He wanted to spend alone and quiet time with Rona today and bring her on a date later this afternoon.

Rona was currently inside their room, scrolling through her SNS feed when an article from a famous gossip site caught her attention.

It was an article about her and Seokhoon's engagement wherein it was speculated that the two of them were just 'fake dating' in the eyes of the public and were actually 'forced' to marry each other to stop Seokhoon's Casanova ways.

As she continued to read the article, her eyes re wide in shock as she saw photographs of what seemed like Seokhon and a woman at restaurant in Japan. As far as she could remember, Seokhoon had a business trip in Japan just recently and she felt her heart pound loudly in her chest as she observed the picture. It was indeed Seokhoon.
