Ep. 51: Eomma and Appa

YOU GOT ME KINDA WHAT?!

Her? Pregnant? All she knew was she fell down the stairs and had this nasty injury on her head but hearing the fact that she was pregnant, she was very surprised.

She looked at everyone who was inside her hospital room and looked at Seokhoon right in his eyes.

Is this true, hubby? It's not a prank or something?

Seokhoon sensed the anticipation and anxiety in Rona's voice. It seems like she couldn't still believe that she is actually carrying their first child together.

Seokhoon nodded at her and gave her a sweet, reassuring smile.

Yes, wifey. You're three weeks pregnant. We're going to have our very own bundle of joy soon!

Rona covered her mouth and started to tear up that made the three panic. Rona was filled with different emotions that moment. But one thing for sure, the tears she was shedding was tears of pure joy and happiness. Tears that celebrated the fulfillment of a dream she has been dreaming of since she was a young child; To build a family with the man she loves.

Seokhoon rushed to her side and enclosed her tiny frame in his arms.

Sssshhh....... Don't cry anymore, wifey. It's bad for our baby if you're sad.

Rona shook her head whole still crying in Seokhoon's arms and replied to him.

No, no. I'm not sad. I'm actually very happy, hubby. With all the things that had happened at the hotel, I didn't know that I was actually already carrying our child, hubby. I'm so glad that our baby is safe. It would be so heartbreaking if I knew I lost our little munchkin without knowing that he or she is already inside me.

Seokhoon kissed his fiancée's hair and rocked her body gently to calm her down from crying.

I wouldn't let that happen to our little one, okay? I'm here to protect you two at all costs. I will not let anyone hurt you and our baby. I promise you that.

Rona nodded her head at him and wiped her tears away.

Seokhoon sat back down at his chair and caressed Rona's stomach which made the female look at him.

Hi, baby! This is me, your Appa. I'm so glad that you and your Eomma are safe. I promise that I'll love and protect you both from all harm or danger. You're so strong. Hang in there, okay? We'll see you in eight months. Appa loves you so much, little munchkin.

Rona smiled at her fiancée who was looking at her stomach affectionately. Although it was not yet obvious that she is pregnant, Seokhoon could already imagine his fiancée's tummy growing bigger as their little munchkin inside grows bigger too. He can't wait to have their baby in his arms and give him or her all the best things in life.

Yoon Hee and Yoon Chul smiled at the sight right before them. They smiled at the sight of the young couple right in front of them who were celebrating the arrival of their bundle of joy.

To Yoon Hee, she was glad that Rona didn't have the same fate as her. She was happy to see the man she loves with her as they journey through their first pregnancy. Yoon Chul on the other hand was quite emotional. As he looked at the young couple, he wished that he and Yoon Hee was also like this before when she was pregnant with Rona. He wanted to do the things Seokhoon was doing to his daughter. He looked at Yoon Hee and as he saw her getting teary-eyed, he knew how thankful his wife is that their daughter and the man she loves didn't share the same sad and heartbreaking fate as them.

Rona opened her mouth as Seokhoon fed her with sliced fresh peaches and watermelon.
