A staff shouted in panic as she spotted Rona lying on the floor unconscious.......
.......while blood flowed out of the cut on her head and between her legs.
The loud shout of the hotel staff startled the people who were around the area and as they saw the unconscious and bleeding Rona lying on the cold hotel floor, they all panicked and gasped in surprise.
Oh my goodness. Isn't that Joo Seokhoon's girlfriend?!
What happened to her? Why is she bleeding?
Did she fall down the stairs by herself or someone with ill intentions against her did this to her?
There were staffs who went towards Rona while there were also some who dashed upstairs to inform the Joo's about what just happened.
As soon as the staffs reached the ballroom, they scanned the whole place to look for any members of the Joo family. As their eyes saw Joo Seokhoon and Joo Dantae at the VIP table with some business partners, they didn't hesitate to come to them and interrupt their conversation.
They bowed at them politely and with troubled faces, they looked at the father and son duo who were quite surprised at their sudden arrival.
We're so sorry to interrupt your conversation but there is an emergency downstairs that you need to attend to.
Confused at what the obviously nervous and tensed staffs were saying, Seokhoon looked at them and replied.
What would that emergency be?
Sir, Ms. Bae fell down the stairs and got injured. She's bleeding quite seriously and is unconscious. We don't know how it happened sir but one of our colleagues saw her at the bottom of the staircase.
WHAT?! No! Rona-yah!!!!!!!
Seokhoon dashed out of the ballroom as fast as he could and ran down the stairs, panicking and all nervous.
No. I will never forgive myself if something bad happens to Rona.
As soon as he saw his soon-to-be-wife lying on the cold floor unconscious while bleeding, his lips quivered and tears started to flow out of his eyes uncontrollably. He quickly dashed towards Rona and knelt down beside her.
No, no,no!!!!!!! Wifey, what happened? I'm so sorry. Hubby's here already. I'm here already. Please don't leave me.
He gently lifted her body a little and cradled her like a little baby.
I'm so sorry, wifey. This is all my fault. I shouldn't have left you alone. Please hang in there. We'll get you some help.
He looked around and saw some of the guests who were just standing and looking at them while gossiping with each other about what happened. This sight annoyed Seokhoon so much that he couldn't help but yell at them.
WHY ARE YOU ALL JUST STANDING THERE?! CALL AN AMBULANCE!!!!!!!
The guests got startled as Seokhoon's powerful yell boomed around the hall and immediately called for an ambulance.
Sir, the ambulance is already on their way here to bring Ms. Bae to the hospital. They will arrive here shortly.
Seokhoon couldn't even respond to the staff properly and just cried there while continuously saying sorry to Rona while tucking her hair behind her ear and kissing her cheek. He can't help but blame himself for failing to protect her once again. He failed to do so once and now, he failed once again.
