Finally, Rona and Seokhoon, together with Frosty, entered the huge and luxurious Penthouse. Rona knew Seokhoon's family was rich but she never had an idea that they were this rich. They are crazy rich!
The elegant interiors of the Penthouse made it look like a hotel more than a home.
Wow, this place looks like a five-star hotel. No wonder Seokhoon's father is capable of helping my parents in their business because they are crazy rich! This is unbelievable!
Rona thought as she roamed her eyes around the Penthouse.
Seokhoon just followed her while staring at her intently. Based from Rona's actions, he could tell that the girl was fascinated with how glamorous their home is. Seeing her reactions, he couldn't help but chuckle at her cuteness.
He was so deep into staring and observing Rona that he didn't notice his father walking towards them.
Aigoo, Rona-yah. It's been a while since I last saw you. How are you doing?
Dantae asked while smiling at Rona and gave her shoulder a gentle pat.
Rona bowed her head to her future father in law and returned the smile he gave her.
Annyeong, abbeo-nim. I'm so glad to see you too once again. I'm doing great!
Dantae smiled at her and was about to say something when he noticed Frosty, who was sleeping soundly in Rona's arms.
Frosty?
Dantae asked.
Rona nodded at him and smiled before saying
Yes, abbeo-nim. I saw her walking outside the hallway of the Penthouse all alone. I figured she was lost so I brought her with me. Seokhoon told me that this is his twin sister's cat that got lost.
Her future father in law smiled happily at Rona and thanked her for helping in looking for Frosty.
Whew! I was supposed to call for help to look for my daughter's cat but thanks to my future daughter in law, that won't be necessary anymore.
He then turned his head towards his son.
Seokhoon-ah, lead her to the living room. Let me call Seokkyung first so that she'll know that her cat is here. Treat her nicely, okay? No monkey business!
Dantae turned his back towards the couple and headed towards Seokkyung's room to inform her that her missing cat has been found.
Meanwhile, Seokhoon lead Rona towards the living room like what his father instructed him. They settled down on the couch and like what she has done inside the elevator, Rona kept some distance from Seokhoon. She really didn't want to mess up nor talk with Seokhoon because she is so sick of his antics that's making her crazy.
Instead of focusing on the man beside her, she chose to stroke the cat's soft, fluffy fur. The cat purred at Rona's touch and snuggled closer to her.
Minutes passed by and Rona felt the deafening silence lingering in the atmosphere. Not used to having silence with Seokhoon around her, she glanced to her side, only to find the playful man fast asleep.
Oh. He's asleep. Now I know that the only time I'll get peace and quiet whenever he's around is the time he's asleep.
