The humongous fancy hotel ballroom was decorated elegantly for the special event hosted by the Joo family not only to celebrate the expansion and success of their family business in the international market but also for the surprise turnover ceremony of Chairmanship to Seokhoon.
Upon discussing it with his wife, they felt like Seokhoon is already prepared and responsible enough to handle their family's businesses. Throughout the years, Seokhoon proved himself to them that he deserves the spot of becoming the Chairman of their business group and because of this, Dantae was more than willing to step down from the position and to just enjoy his time without minding the stress and problems in the company. He was confident that Seokhoon would do great as the Chairman. Besides, he has a great support to back him up and that is his fiancée, Bae Rona.

A business partner greeted the couple at their table.

Seokkyung is currently on her way with Mr. Han's son Han Seojun which is her boyfriend and Seokhoon is also on his way with his fiancée.
The woman looked at Dantae in shock and asked him to confirm what she just heard.

Dantae chuckled and nodded his head at her.
Yes. He is engaged with Mr. and Mrs. Ha's daughter which is the famous actress Bae Rona.
He replied with a proud and happy voice.
The smile on the woman's face disappeared and was replaced with a frown. She was beyond disappointed that Seokhoon was bit available anymore. She has always dreamed of being a chaebol's son's wife but upon learning that one of the country's biggest chaehol's son is already engaged, Yuri felt so disappointed.
The middle-aged man sensed the silence lingering and glanced at her daughter who was frowning beside him. In order to cut the awkward situation, he replied to Dantae instead in behalf of her daughter.
Oh?! That is indeed surprising but anyways, please send my and Yuri's well wishes to him and his fiancée. I'm glad that he is finally about to settle with the woman that his heart truly desires. We'll go first to our friends and I'll talk to you later, Chairman Joo. Good evening.
The father and daughter duo walked away from Dantae and Suryeon and when the two were already away from their spot, Dantae rolled his eyes and groaned silently in his place.
That woman, she's still at it! Even after so many years, that woman is still chasing after Seokhoon. You should've seen her face when she learned that Seokhoon is already engaged. Tch. As if I'll let my one and only son marry a brat like her.
