As soon as Seokhoon, Yoon Hee, and Yoon Chul went inside Rona's private hospital room, none of them spoke any words as they spent their time staring at Rona, observing her sleeping form while waiting for her to regain her consciousness. It was such a relief to know that Rona and their baby are doing fine.
Seokhoon sat beside Rona and caressed her soft hands gently while staring at her face. Even at this state, she still looks so beautiful. He could only admire the sleeping beauty in front of him. He was so absorbed in his own little wold while staring at Rona that he didn't even notice his future parents-in-law were staring at him.
Yoon Hee was glad to see Rona having the man she loves beside her to support her, stand by her, and care for her especially in this special journey of being a parent. Up until now, she somehow felt guilty about setting her up in an arranged marriage. It felt like she had just practically controlled her daughter's life and didn't give her the freedom to choose whom she wants to be with for the rest of her life. But seeing how things progressed between them, she was happy that her daughter found the love of her life through that arranged marriage.
Rona went through a lot of things during the past months. Out of all the things she went through, she couldn't believe that she almost got r*ped because of her scheming and evil stepsister. Yoon Hee is absolutely disguted that her daughter had to go through all of these but she was thankful that Seokhoon belived her, fought for her, and stayed with her during those times.
This young man in front of her proved that he genuinely loves their daughter and cares for her like she's the most valuable person for him that he treasures a lot. She was thankful that her daughter is being loved by someone sincerely.
Seokhoon-ah.
She called his name which caught the young male's attention.
Nae, Eommo-nim?
Yoon Hee smiled at him and said.
Congratulations once again for you and Rona's expecting. I honestly was surprised upon learning that my daughter is pregnant but I'm happy for the both of you.
Hearing these words from his future mother-in-law, he smiled at her sincerely and replied to her.
Thank you, Eommo-nim. I am beyond grateful for your blessings. I really appreciate it.
To tell you honestly, I haven't expected this at all. Ideally, marriage should come first before having children but I know that you two are a couple in love and it is hard to resist each other especially when you two are alone.
Seokhoon's cheeks turned into a crimson shade all of a sudden at Yoon Hee's words. Although they were a couple, he felt shy talking about being intimate with Rona especially with her parents who protected her and treats her like a princess. These two were unaware of what they were doing back in their apartment. Heck, they didn't even know that they were already sharing a room! The baby inside Rona's womb is an evidence of their bedroom activities.
Seeing Seokhoon blushing while shyly looking away from them, Yoon Chul laughed at him and went beside him, giving Seokhoon a pat of the shoulder.
Don't be embarassed about it, Seokhoon-ah. We were once in your age and even me and Yoon Hee are guilty about it. Besides, you're a couple in love. It's quite natural for you two to do that thing.
The two males laughed but immediately as soon as they saw Yoon Hee's frown directed at Yoon Chul, they both stopped and Yoon Chul scratched his head.
Yoon Hee cleared her throat and began to speak again.
