Ep. 36: Help That She Needs

It was few minutes away before 6:00 pm and almost all of the guests for tonight's dinner have already arrived and are now sitting on the couches of the living room while chatting happily with each other.

Mr. and Mrs. Han who were sitting across the Joo's and the Ha's smiled at the people in front of them.

Mr. and Mrs. Joo, Mr. and Mrs. Ha, congratulations on your kids' engagement!

The Ha's just smiled back at Mr. and Mrs. Han's greetings. Dantae on the other hand grinned at them proudly and replied.

Thank you so much. Finally, my son found the woman for him or should I say, WE found the right woman for him. Hahahahaha!

He joked which made the rest of the people inside the room chuckle as well.

We were honestly surprised when Seojun told us about his engagement. We thought that it would be our son who will marry first out of their college squad but I guess, we should really expect the unexpected.

Suryeon smiled at what Seojun's father said. She knows that it was quite a shocker for everyone especially to those who knows about Seokhoon's Casanova and womanizer ways in then past that he is soon to tie the knot with Rona. She was initially nervous as to how her sons relationship with Rona will progress especially that they started off in an arranged marriage but she was glad that the two were able to work things out and are now taking things seriously between the two of them.

But we're so glad that everything worked out for the two of them. We could see how serious and sincere our son is with his relationship with Rona. It's great to think that their relationship worked out very well despite of starting in an arranged marriage.

Suryeon replied to Seojun's father. Dantae held her hand and smiled at her affectionately before turning his gaze towards Seojun's parents and added to his wife's words.

Just like me and my wife. Anyways, where is Seojun and Seokkyung?

Honey, they went to the terrace. You know how couples usually do. They want some alone time together.

Upon hearing what his wife has said, Dantae nodded and lets out a smile.

I see. Everyone is here except for Rona and Seokhoon. They'll be coming here in a short while. They're on their way.

They continued to chat some more until the next generation of Mr. and Mrs. Joo arrived at the Penthouse while holding each other's hands. Noticing some movements from the main door of the Penthouse, everyone turned their gazes there and smiled at the sight of the two, looking so cute together.

Finally, the star couple has arrived.

Dantae exclaimed, making everyone including the couple themselves laugh.

Good evening, Eomma and Appa. Good evening, everyone. We're already here.

Seokhoon greeted his parents with a bow and went towards the couch area, greeting the other guests. Rona also did the same and sat beside her parents to give them a hug. Seokhoon eventually sat down beside Rona and held her hand tightly.

Good evening, love birds! We're so glad you made it.

Suryeon smiled while glancing at the two and their intertwined hands back and forth.

Well, this is a family dinner and we missed you all so much. We wouldn't miss this for anything.

Seokhoon said coolly while shrugging his shoulders.
