Ep. 53: I Love You

After spending three days in the hospital for further observation and care, the doctors allowed Rona to be discharged. Finally, she can now go home and have a proper and more comfortable rest.

During the three days, Rona's closest friends including Jenni, Minhyuk, her manager, and some other visited her to check on her. Even if the hospital didn't really feel like home for her, having her friends around her during her stay made her feel happy.

Yoon Hee and Yoon Chul were at Rona's hospital room, fixing their belongings as they prepare to send Rona to her and Seokhoon's shared apartment. Seokhoon, with a heavy heart, went back to work today to attend an important business meeting at the company. Rona understood this and was still thankful that Seokhoon made time to take care of her these past three days despite of his busy schedules as the new Chairman of their company group.

While preparing, someone knocked on her hospital room's door that caught the attention of the three of them. Yoon Chul went to the door and was surprised at the sight right before him. A hospital staff was right in front of the door while holding a big bouquet filled with lots of gorgeous red roses.

Good morning, sir. I'm so sorry for the disturbance but is Miss Bae Rona here?

Upon hearing her name, Rona looked at the man and was surprised to see the roses. Because of this, she started to walk towards the door.

Yes, I am her father and my daughter's here.

Rona popped her head behind her father's tall figure and said to him.

I'm Bae Rona. Is there anything we can do for you?

The man smiled at her and handed her the bouquet red roses.

Chairman Joo Seokhoon sent this bouquet of 143 red roses for you.

Rona couldn't help but smile and blush at the same time. She never expected Seokhoon to pull a romantic move at her today but no denying, she likes it so much.

Thank you so much for bringing this.

The man bowed at them and walked away from the room.

This is so beautiful.

Rona said as she admired the roses while touching and sniffing them. 

Seokhoon is so romantic! I can't believe guys as sweet and caring as him still exists in your time! It's like I'm watching a romance drama right in front of me!

Yoon Hee exclaimed as she went towards her daughter and admired the beautiful flowers Seokhoon gave to Rona.

That boy, he amazes me a lot. He goes extra miles just to make our dear princess feel loved everyday. He even sent not just one or two but one freaking hundred forty-three red roses just to say I love you!

Yoon Chul added which made Rona blush even more. As she continued to look at the flowers, she noticed a note attached to the box and pulled it to read what is written there.

Wifey,

I'm sorry for not being able to accompany you home today as you get discharged from the hospital. There are several matters that I need to look into at the company but I promise I'll make it up to you once I get home later.

May these roses be my way of expressing my love, respect, appreciation, and commitment to you. Roses remind me of you because like these roses, you are beautiful yet strong, elegant, graceful, and delicate. And yes, 143 roses because I love you.
