Ep. 64: Final Decision

Cheon Seojin who was hoping to het Yoon Chul help Eunbyeol get out of the jail was nervous at what her ex-husband who was on the other line has to say.

We are talking now, Seojin. What do you need?

This is about Eunbyeol. I know that you know what's going on. I have no one else but you to ask for help.

Yoon Chul was not exactly happy at what is going on between her two daughters. Even if it hurts him to see Eunbyeol detained behind the bars, he knew that his other daughter also deserves justice for every horrible things Eunbyeol did to her. He himself is so conflicted but he also knew that justice and fairness should prevail.

Hearing her bring Yoon Hee and Rona up again in their conversation just made his annoyance grow and because of this, he can't help but cut her off. He can't just let her speak badly about Yoon Hee and Rona who has absolutely nothing to do with the mess.

Although he cared and valued Eunbyeol equally as he valued and loved his other daughter Rona, he knew that this is the best thing for them right now. If Seojin continues to tolerate Eunbyeol in doing bad deeds and will help her get away with it, Eunbyeol will never learn her lesson and might even continue to cause chaos confidently knowing that someone will back her up. This is a hard decision to make but he already made up his mind. He loves Eunbyeol so much but he cannot get himself to be unfair to his other daughter Rona and betray her by letting  Eunbyeol out of the jail. This is the good thing to do.

After all these years, you are still so toxic. Cheon Seojin, you are the one who molded Eunbyeol into who she is. You greatly influenced her character and behavior. But you cannot use the father card against me to make me do what you want. Eunbyeol has to learn a lot of things in life. You can't always have things your way. I'm sorry but I'm afraid I'll not help this time.

Yoon Chul felt anger flood his system. It definitely angered him as to how Seojin is acting right now. She is still so immature and childlish.
