Ep. 42: I Can See You, Eunbyeol

Back at Cheon Seojin and his husband's estate, Eunbyeol was eating dinner together with her mother and stepfather. Throughout the dinner, Eunbyeol was pretty silent. It was her parents who were doing all the talking. If there's anything, she was only answering the questions with short responses.

Aside from the fact that she was not that close with her stepfather, she was frustrated over the failure of her wicked plans directed towards her stepsister Rona and the guy whom she is obsessed with, Seokhoon.

I heard the Joo's will be having a party to celebrate the expansion their business overseas. They sent us an invitation.

Eunbyeol's stepfather spoke as he cut his steak into bite size.

Really? Then I guess their business was a big hit that it even made it overseas. When will that be?

Seojin replied with an uninterested tone.

It will be held on the weekend. And based from what I heard, Joo Dantae is about to pass the chairmanship over his son Joo Seokhoon as he marries his fiancée. Who is that? Bae Rona?

Seojin rolled her eyes and continued to eat in annoyance.

You know how rich families do, honey. I believe they arranged Seokhoon and Rona in marriage for a reason.

I honestly wished it was our dear Eunbyeol who would marry into the Joo family. It would be of a great help to our business. They have a strong influence and power in the world of business.

Eunbyeol looked around with a sad and frowning face. She honestly wished the same as her stepfather but it was not for business purposes but because she really wanted him to be hers. But seeing how her plan progressed, she realized that she needs to work harder and execute a more effective plan to break her stepsister and the man whom she wanted for herself apart.

A loveless marriage would eventually lead to divorce, honey.

Seojin's husband looked at her in confusion and couldn't help but to ask.

What does that mean?

Seojin laughed and smirked a little at her husband.

All I can say is that everything is fair and square in love. Who knows.......

Seojin looked at Eunbyeol and continued to speak.

Eunbyeol might get a chance with Joo Seokhoon. For now, let's just see how things will progress between Bae Rona and Joo Seokhoon. When there's a chance in the near future, why not grab it, right?

Seojin's husband simply nodded a bit hesitantly and continued to eat in silence. Eunbyeol on the other hand smiled a little at her mother's words. At least, she has someone to support her with her quest to have Joo Seokhoon as hers.

We have to shop for the best dress for the party this weekend tomorrow. I'll make sure that you'll be the most beautiful woman at the party. Maybe, even more beautiful than Seokhoon's fiancée.

Eunbyeol smirked and smiled. Se will make sure that she will beat Bae Rona and be the most beautiful woman at the party. Seokhoon is a Casanova and has a thing for beautiful women. She's sure that she will be able to capture Seokhoon's attention when she dresses nicely.
