Simply (Draco Malfoy X Reader)

“Oh, come on Draco. It’ll be fun.” You pleaded, tugging on your boyfriend’s sleeve.

“But __y/n__, it’s such a…Muggle thing to do.”

“I know, but it’ll be fun. I promise. Please?” You pouted your lips and drew your eyebrows together, giving him the best puppy face you could manage.

“You’re lucky that I love you.” Draco grumbled as you cheered, dragging him over to the movie ticket line.

“Are you crying?” You asked curiously, wiping away some tears of your own.

“No. I just got dust in my eyes.” Draco said shortly, offhandedly wiping his eyes with the sleeve of his sweater.

“Draco, you’ve always been a dreadful liar.”

“…Fine. I’m crying. It’s just, Anna was dead! And poor Elsa, she had to keep her powers a secret for so long, and she never even complained.” Draco ranted, voice cracking slightly.

“How many Disney movies have you seen?” You questioned, tilting your head to the side.

“I believe this is the first, though I think Bellatrix let me watch part of one before because she admired one of the characters. I think her name was Ursula? And I think there might have been a deformed mermaid.” Draco said thoughtfully, raising an eyebrow at you.

“Ah, I know what one you’ve seen then. I know a lot more that’ll make you cry, come on, let’s get back to the flat. I own most of them.” You said, grabbing Draco’s hand and dragging him out of the theater.

“Mudbloods…” Draco said with a shake of his head, but he said it with so much fondness that it wasn’t even an insult anymore.

“Prat.” You responded just as fondly, walking down the street, arm in arm with Draco. Your flat wasn’t too far away, and you and Draco hadn’t bothered buying a car yet, you could walk.

Draco stopped suddenly, bringing you to a halt as well.

“What’s wrong?” You asked, peering up at him curiously.

“Absolutely nothing.” Draco responded, hands going to the back of your head as he kissed you gently. He pulled away after a moment, lips pressing against your forehead instead. “I love you.”

“I love you too.” You said, arms wrapping around his shoulders as you stood on your tiptoes, barely managing to peck his cheek. “Come along, Malfoy. We have some movies to watch.”

Draco just smiled as you bounded in front of him, your hands intertwined as you pulled him along. He still wasn’t really sure how he ended up with you, all he knew was that he was glad he had. You were the light to his darkness, the sun to his Washington, you were the __y/n__ to his Draco.

And he simply wouldn’t have it any other way.
