When would he stop using those? Those never-ending, majestic, puppy dog eyes that controlled every bit of all self-control left in one's body. They could make anyone do anything with a second's thought. They could, and did, have the power of complete mind control; even with people he did not know. But Tom knew that. Tom knew that and the gorgeous bastard used it to his advantage...especially at times like these. The times where it was difficult not to give in and succumb to what he wanted. Those eyes made even the strongest yield to his wants. His eyes were not just a window into his soul, but a lake to see one's own reflection in them as well. And sometimes, it was quite horrible not to have a boat to get out of those damn things sooner.

It was the worse during times like today. He wanted so badly to do something, that inside it was easy to see it should not be done; but with that one look, all of Asgard could fall. And if Asgard could surrender, how could his girlfriend, F/n, not? She tried, she really did. Even after all this time, she tried. When they first began seeing each other, it was to go find a café for a dessert- for him it was always for pudding. Then, it lead into bigger, grander, things. For example, right now. Tom was begging, pleading with those puppy dog eyes. He was desperately trying to get F/n to say yes. He was not proposing; because if that was the case, they would have been married by now if it was up to her.  No, it was smaller than that, but bigger than convincing her to try a new pudding place. Tom wanted, no he needed, F/n to move in with him. He asked her in a rather odd way in a rather odd place, though. He asked just after saying he was leaving to film for six months. He also said it in front of many, many people. See, Tom asked her over the television in an interview...and it kind of slipped out of his mouth as a statement rather than a question, and she was not there to give an answer. She was at work when all of her fellow employees came rushing into her office. They, obviously were not working, but were watching the interview, and assumed they were moving in together. That, however, was not discussed between the couple up until it was mentioned casually over television. F/n was not even watching the interview. She was actually working- like a normal, paid employee of a company. Apparently, that is not in fact what most people were doing. In fact, her co-workers were following her relationship with Tom more than she was. Which, she will not lie, was kind of creepy. Tom found it creepier, but now it was his fault. And now, F/n was faced with a decision that she had no to plan, prepare, or arrange an answer to give her adorable boyfriend. F/n liked to have plans. She liked to be organized, and now even at work she had lost control of that bit of her life. Of course...

Now though, she had escaped her own bloody office, F/n called the man of the hour. He had some serious explaining to do. F/n had to wait a minute though. Her phone was being texted, tweeted, and everything else at once. She had no idea how Tom dealt with all pf this on a daily basis. Thank heavens he was the famous one. She then shut off her volume for notifications, and told Tom to meet her at her flat as soon as his fancy car could get him there.  Which leads the moment and look of right now. Which explains why F/n was trying to get even a little upset at him. She wanted to be mad, furious even, but that was a joke itself. Look at the man if it does not make sense, look at the man...

Knowing that what she wanted to portray was impossible, she went for the little bit upset at him aim. She was planning after a day or two to agree to his offer, but F/n figured he could sweat it out a few days. (Everyone had a Loki side to them. Tom just picked the girl that used that side.) So, once again, it was his fault in F/n's mind. Somehow, those puppy eyes seem to be making her cave even quicker than usual. He refused to blink away from her, and her heart began to melt. As she let her guard down, Tom seized the opportunity. She knew what was going to happen, and so did Tom. Tom would do the look again, get what he wanted, and all would be well. It was almost a guaranteed equation. Today the variable had changed.  It would take more than an apology and a kiss to fix this, and Tom was well aware of it. They both knew that F/n did want to keep some things of their relationship private. She was fine with people knowing, but that's after she knew herself. And Tom was prepared for that. He was ready. He went all out with sorries and a romantic dinner in her favorite restaurant. He rented out the whole place except the waiters, bar tenders, and chefs. He even got a small band to play for them. He went all out. He really felt bad for everything that happened today. He managed to convince F/n to change into a dress, and go with him to a "surprise destination." She had an inkling of what he was going to do, but she was excited nevertheless.

Tom pulled up into the parking lot of the restaurant. The whole way there he refused to stop saying sorry. He led F/n inside slowly. He took his time walking behind her. After opening the door and letting her walk through, Tom tapped the small, black, velvet box inside his suit jacket. He picked out a while ago, and held onto it to use it when he felt the moment was right. He was not sure it would be tonight, but in case the night went the way he planned- he would need it before he ordered his pudding. F/n was genuinely shocked when she walked into a patron free restaurant. She knew Tom had come up with something big, but she did not figured something if this scale. He was insane for doing this. She knew her original idea of waiting to say yes about moving in with him was falling apart. F/n accepted that as fact, but she was also more than okay with it. She checked behind her to see Tom about to take off her jacket for her. F/n had a smile painted across her face, and she doubted it would leave the rest of the night.

They came to the restaurant often, so they knew what they wanted right away. The only difference was the mood and conversation. F/n finally let Tom know it was okay, and to stop apologizing. He really did say sorry too much... F/n noticed something was odd with Tom. He kept glancing at his jacket pocket. She guessed he thought she would not notice.  She did though, but she refused to say anything. She and he were both happy in the moment; talking, drinking, and eating. She would be a fool to ruin what was happening in front of her. They both finished their main course slowly. Tom looked at the dessert menu and put it down. F/n found that interesting and followed him in suit. He grabbed her hand. He looked her in the eye, and he felt that the moment was truly right. This would be the perfect ending. He would ask her now to marry him. He would apologize one last time for tonight. And if she said yes, they would move in together anyway. It was a picture perfect ending...even without pudding. So he began to ask, "...............
