Secret Crush (Merlin X Reader)

You were Lady Morgana's maid, you were walking toward Morgana's room to change her bed sheets but you ended up running into Merlin who was your best friend. You rolled your eyes knowing that Merlin would try and guess who your crush was, he had been guessing for weeks.

"I know who it is... I just know it..." Merlin grinned at you, "You like girls and boys, you like Lady Morgana, you fancy her don't you?" Merlin smirked.

"You're not going to give up are you" You laughed; "I do not fancy Lady Morgana, but I do think she is very beautiful Merlin, my sexuality is not of your concern" You looked at Merlin and gave him a soft smile.

"Why not? I'm your best friend" Merlin chuckled.

"It's called Bisexual by the way Merlin, now please if you'll excuse me I must be on my way" You smiled softly and walked toward Morgana's chambers.

You walked into Morgana's bedroom and changed the sheets then cleaned up a bit before leaving her chambers and heading to the market to fetch some vegetables for dinner.

Merlin ran up to you, "I've got it! You like Lancelot!" Merlin grinned.

"Nope..." You smiled before walking back toward home.

You walked inside and set down the basket, you hummed quietly and took some flowers out of a basket and set them in a vase.

The next day

You were walking toward Lady Morgana's chambers when you accidentally ran into Prince Arthur; you gasped looking at Arthur blushing. Arthur smiled softly, you quickly bowed.

"My lord, I apologize for bumping it you" You muttered softly.

"It's fine (Y/N)" Arthur smiled softly.

You blushed and nodded, "Do you need anything my lord?" You asked looking at Arthur curiously.

"Um... Nope... Nothing..." Arthur mumbled realizing he got lost in you (E/C) eyes, "Carry on..." He said before quickly walking away.

You smiled and carried on walking toward Lady Morgana's chambers when you were once again stopped by Merlin.

"You love Arthur! I've seen the way you look at him" Merlin grinned.

"I do not love Arthur Merlin, he is the Princes and he is quite handsome but that's all..." You said sternly, "That's enough guessing okay..." You kissed Merlin's cheek and carried on walking.

"Can't you just tell me?" Merlin asked.
