He chuckled,taking a swig of beer."I mean that I'm more of a country guy and you're a rock n roll girl."he said,I blushed."that doesn't meant that I couldn't at least try to listen to country music."i said,he chuckled again.I blushed in embarrassment this time,"I-I'm serious Chris."i said.he looked at me,throughout this whole conversation I hadn't once said his name.we both didn't say anything,we just stared at each other.

Lana Valance has the job every girl wished they had:being a personal assistant for the Foo Fighters.when she first started working for them she was afraid she'd mess up,but as it turns out she's now practically friends with each member(and their wives).the only person she hasn't bonded with was Chris Shiflett,which made her feel bad.she wanted to bond with Shifty,but there was one teeny tiny little problem:she has a crush on him,and he's older then her.Lana is only 26 years old while Chris is 42 years old,he's also recently divorced his wife Cara.
Between occasionally having his kids over for the week and touring with the guys,Chris is fucking exhausted.and it doesn't help that the guys constantly want to "help him" and encourage him to try to have some fun,he wants to be alone.one day,he's the only one in the studio.while he waits for the rest of the band,Lana stumbles in and nearly drops the drinks each member requested.Chris comes to the rescue and grabs them before they could spill to the floor,Lana and Chris lock eyes and immediately feel a spark.but will this spark have consequences?and will it ruin Lana and Chris' relationship with the band?

I've been working for the Foo Fighters for 4 months,and in those four months I've somehow managed to befriend each member and their wives.well,almost each member.Chris Shiflett seemed to be the only member I just couldn't befriend,or talk to.I couldn't even try to befriend is wife,because she's now his ex-wife.Cara seemed like a nice woman,but sometimes looks can be deceiving.I quickly rushed into studio 66,holding the drinks the band drank in the morning."coffee for Dave,beer for Taylor and Chris,tea for Pat and Rami,and water for Nate."i repeated to myself,making sure I got the correct things.
