After some time in the arcade, Akane and Daichi's belly started to growl. They both looked at each other and laughed.
" I guess it's time to leave the arcade, let's go eat! " Daichi smiled.
Akane chuckled and nodded. Daichi held out his hand. Akane looked at it and placed her hand in his. They started to walk out. They continued to walk. Suddenly Daichi stopped in front of a cafe. He looked over at Akane and asked wether she wants to eat there. She nodded. He opened the door for her and she walked in. They got greeted and sitted. The cafe had very nice aesthetic, it was not too crowded and there was background music playing. Akane placed the bear on her lap. Daichi took out his phone and pretended to do something but he actually took a picture of her because he wanted to keep that memory of her. She didn't notice a thing. A waiter suddenly came and placed a menu on the table.
" Take a look at the menu and tell me what you'd like to order."
Daichi gave the menu to Akane. She opened it.
" May I have the yakisoba, and 2 sticks of dango. I'd like a glass of water too. Thank you" Akane ordered.
" I'd like to have the same thing." Daichi requested.
The waiter nodded and took the menu, walking away.
" Daichi, thank you for bringing me to the arcade earlier. I had a lot of fun."
" I had fun too." He agreed.
They made conversations while waiting for the food. After a while the food arrived.
" Thank you for the food! " They both said.
They digged in and enjoyed the food. Daichi looked up from his food and looked at Akane. She was smiling as she enjoyed the food. She even did a little dance of joy. He was mesmerised by her in every way

Akane looked up and locked eyes with Daichi. Chills went down her back and her face became red.
" D-daichi? Why are you looking at me like that? " Akane questioned.
He put his head on his hand and smiled. He just shook his head and continues to watch Akane. Akane keeps getting even more flustered by the second.
" Your food is going to get cold, idiot! " She blurted out hoping he would stop staring.
Daichi chuckled and continued to eat his food while taking quick glances at Akane. Soon after they finish their food, Daichi went to pay the bill. Akane helped clean up the table. She picked up her bear that was sitting on her lap and she waited patiently for Daichi. He came back to the table and told Akane that he's done. They thanked the waiter and walked out. They didn't even realise the sun was down already. They had too much fun to notice. Daichi had his hands in his jacket's pocket. He looked down and stared at Akane's hand. Daichi moved closer to her and slowly grabbed her hand and placed it his jacket pocket while holding it. Butterflies filled Akane's stomach. Her cheeks were dusted with a hint of pink. She kept looking down at the bear the whole time.
" Thank you.. Daichi."
Daichi stopped walking and looked at Akane.
".. What for? " He asked.
" For today, of course. I had a good time with you." She answered with a sweet and soft smile.
Daichi stared at her, speechless. She got closer to him and gave him a kiss on his cheek. Since she was short, she had to stand on her toes. She barely could reach his cheek. Daichi remained silent. Suddenly he let out a laugh. At the the perfect moment, small flowers started to drop. Her eyes started to sparkle as she looked at Daichi.
His face was tinted with redness. He beamed with happiness. He tilted his head slightly and looked at her in the eyes.
" Let's get home, okay? "
Akane's heartbeat continued to increase faster and faster. Her face started to heat up. She held the bear tighter. She nodded while looking down. They continued to walk under the beautiful moonlight. They were walking closely to each other, often their sides would accidentally bump into one another. They'd just laugh it off.
Not too long after, they reached Akane's doorstep. He took her hand out of his pocket. He turned his body to face Akane. Akane looked up at him as he stares down at her. A grin appears on his face. He let go of her hand and gave her a quick hug.
" Get a good night rest, okay? Text me if you need anything. Thank you for going out with me today."
Akane wrapped her arms around his neck. She pulled him in closer before letting go. She used the bear's hand and waved at him goodbye as he walks away. Akane opened her door and took off her shoes. She took a good look at the bear and smiled. She gave it a kiss on the forehead as she walked to the the living room. She placed it nicely on the couch and went into her room to freshen up. She wiped off her eyeliner and took out her jewelries. She walked into the shower and turn on the nice and warm bath.

She wraps herself in the towel and walked out. She went to her closet and picked out a pair of shorts and a oversize shirt and put it on after drying herself. She blow-dry her hair and walked out. She walked pass the table of pictures and a memory occurred to her.
" You'll get to reunite with them again! "
Daichi reassured her with those words. Yet again, her heartbeat sped up. She breathed in and out and sat on the couch. She turned on the TV and got comfortable. She took the bear and cuddled with it. The bear reminded her of Daichi, not because he got it for her but it was because he was like a teddy bear himself. (Very huggable :>). She continued watching the TV before slowly closing her eyes and falling asleep.
