" Coming! " Akane ran from her room to the door and opens it.
" Good morning Akane-chan. " Daichi said in a cheery voice holding out a bouquet of red roses. He was wearing a casual outfit but he was also well-dressed.
A tint of pinkness appears on Akane's face. She took the bouquet and smelled it. She noticed that a piece of paper touched ur nose, She took it out and read it.
" Let's have a good day tdy Akane-chan :) "
Akane laughed. Daichi tilted his head in confusion and realised that Akane was reading the letter he wrote and he laughed with her. She moved to the side and told Daichi to come in. He took of his shoe and placed them at the side and wore slippers that was placed for him. He stopped and smile at Akane before walking in. Akane's face became more red and she started getting flustered. She gave herself a small smack on her face before closing the door.
" Daichi! Make yourself comfortable. I'm going to continue getting ready before we go out okay? " Akane said placing the roses in a vase filled with water.
He nodded and watched her walk in the room. He stared at the door and smiled. He got flustered thinking about the fact that he was going out with Akane. He looked around the room and saw a table full with picture frames. He walked towards it and noticed a picture of Akane holding a volleyball with a tall guy and girl beside her, he assumed it was Akane's siblings. She was also holding a trophy. Beside it was a picture of her and the same guy, but his hand was on her head and she was looking up at him. Akane looked really young in that photo, she looked like she was in 1st year of high school. Suddenly Akane walked out and saw him looking at the photo, Daichi didn't realise she was out. She sneaked up behind him.
" Sawamura-San. Whatchu looking at? " She whispered.
He jumped a little and turn to face Akane. He's eyes widen and his face started turning pink. She was standing close to him. He could feel her warm breathe against his skin .
" I was looking at your photos, im sorry for not asking your permission but I couldn't resist but to look at them. You looked really adorable though." He complimented her.
She walked towards the photos and gave it a good look and a small smile appeared.
" That's my brother and younger sister. Akiteru and Ayame. Akiteru is overseas and Ayame lives with my mom on the other side of Japan, she's still in middle school so it's hard for her to come and meet me.. I'm busy as well so I rarely have time to meet her. " Akane looked over at Daichi. She gave him a smile but Daichi could tell that she was sad.
He grabbed her hand and told her that they'll be reunited one day. He pulled her and walked to the front door. He asked if she needed anything else and she shook her head. Daichi and Akane put on their shoes. Akane felt someone holding her hand and she realised it was Daichi. She became nervous. They both walked together. His hand was big compared to hers. They continued walking side by side as Akane admire the beautiful scenery.
" Where are we going, Daichi? "
" I'm thinking about going to the arcade before going for lunch? Are you okay with that? " He asked as he looked down at her, smiling.
Her eyes sparkled and she nodded happily. Akane suddenly had the urge to tease Daichi. She playfully interlocks fingers with him.
