Part 23

Akane was sitting down and was listening to the teacher when the classroom door suddenly opened. A boy who had blonde hair came walking in. Everyone stared at him like some kind of angel sent by god that blessed everyone with his presence. Akane looked at him, she noticed that he looked quite familiar.

" Oh good, you're here. Everyone we have someone joining us today. Please introduce yourself."

" Ohayo, I'm Hiroshi Fuji. I moved here from Tokyo." He smirked, looking at everyone.

Akane's heart started to beat faster, she panicked. No wonder he seemed familiar.

" Go take a sit Fuji, wherever that's open. "

He nodded, scanning the classroom. He smirked and walked towards Akane. Akane tried to turn away, trying to not make eye contact with him. He suddenly stopped beside Akane. Karin, who was watching, glared at him.

" Hayate-chan? That you? " He smirked, placing a hand on her table.

Akane started to shake in anger. She looked up and glared at him before giving him a forced smile. Karin was about to stand up and walk towards them but the teacher told Fuji to hurry up and sit down. Fuji nodded and sat down behind Akane. The person who was originally sitting there, didn't attend school that day. Akane bit her lip in frustration. The entire day she couldn't focus in class, just him sitting near her could piss Akane off. Karin kept on glaring at him, from the corner of her eye he could see his stupid smirk making Karin pissed off as well. The last bell rang for the day, many students already left. Only Akane and Fuji were left in the classroom, Karin went to the bathroom. Akane quickly packed her things when she heard someone call her name.

" Hayate-chan.. How have you been? "

Akane clenched her fist and turned around to look at him.

" What the hell do you want Hiroshi!? Are you still not satisfied with what you did?! " Akane snapped.

Fuji stood up and walked towards her, coming closer and closer. His breath against her skin. Akane moved behind, hitting the wall. Her eyebrows lowered, pulled closed together.

" I'm not satisfied, until I get what I want. " He whispered in her ear before walking away, taking his bag. He grinned at her before walking out the classroom.

Akane fell to her chair, clenching her fist in frustration. Her lips quivered. Suddenly, Karin opened the door, behind her followed Luna. They saw her sitting on her chair, frustrated. They quickly rushed over to her. Luna and Karin had an idea of what happened.

" DAMMIT THAT ASSHOLE. I'LL KILL HIM." Luna yelled out, slapping the table. She walked up to the table in front of Akane and kicked it.

" THAT'S WHAT YOU GET." Luna yelled.

" Wrong table Luna." Karin said.

" Oh shit sorry." Luna apologised, shifting the table back to its original position and walking to the table behind Akane and kicking it hard.

" NOW THAT'S WHAT YOU GET, YOU SON OF A BRAT. "

Akane let out a small smile. Karin pulled her up from the chair and Luna helped her pack her things.

" What did he say to you? " Karin asked, trying to keep calm.

" Nothing.. He just said he's not satisfied until he gets what he wants. " Akane answered, nodding to Luna, thanking her for packing Akane's bag.

She checked her phone and realised Daichi texted her.

Akane let out a smile of relief as she replied Daichi. She told Karin and Luna she's going to head out first since Daichi is picking her up. They nodded, telling her not to think much about what Fuji said. She thanked them and walked out of the classroom, closing the door on her way out. She sighed and walked out of school. She walked out and saw that there were still some students walking in and out of school.

" Honey, thanks for waiting for me! " Daichi said, running up towards Akane, waving his hand excitedly.

Akane's eyes lit up and ran towards him and going straight for a hug. She tip toed and wrapped her arms around Daichi. Daichi's eyes widen and he smiled before hugging her back.

" Looks like someone misses me." Daichi whispered into her ear.

His hot breath carassed her ear, making butterflies fill her stomach. She nodded and continued to prolong their hug. He rubbed his hands up and down her back. He lift her off her toes and kissed her before putting her back down. They held hands and walked back together. From the corner of Daichi's eyes, he saw someone walk out from behind the wall, looking directly at them. He just shook it off and asked Akane how her day was. She answered hesitantly, trying her best to not say anything about Hiroshi Fuji.

- A quick flash back -

" Akane, today is Hiroshi's birthday right? " Karin asked.

" Mhm! We're going on a date to celebrate his birthday and our 2 year anniversary! " Akane said, excitedly. She was holding a bag full of his favourite goodies.

" Well, I'm going to surprise him! See you later Karin! " Akane said, waving to Karin.

Akane walked out to her school's courtyard. She told Hiroshi to wait for her there before they go on their date. As she walked happily, she suddenly stopped. Akane dropped Hiroshi's present on the ground and tears started to fill her eyes. Her nose turned red as she started to sniff. Holding back her tears, she quickly ran off. She saw Hiroshi kissing another girl. They have been together since 2nd year in middle school all the way to 3rd year just as they were going to graduate middle school. Hiroshi noticed that Akane saw him kissing another girl, he just smirked. The next day, he told Akane to meet him. Akane thought that he didn't know that she knew but he knew that she had already figured it out. Akane acted normal when she walked to where Hiroshi told her to meet him.

" H-hey, Hiroshi.." Akane mumbled, giving a weak smile.

" Oh hey babe.. Are you okay? You don't normally call me by my name." He faked a worry frown, hiding his stupid smirk.

She just shook her head and told him it was nothing.

" Seriously? That's pathetic Hayate Akane. I know you know. And for the record I have plenty more girls than the one you saw yesterday. "

Hearing those words come out from his mouth, made Akane's tears roll down her cheek. She bit her lip in frustration. He cackled. He grabbed her chin, making her look up at him with her teary eyes.

" You should be glad I accepted your stupid confession and bothered to stay with you for 2 whole years." He said, pushing her face away. He walked away, smirking.

- Back to reality -

Even though that happen, Akane never let it get to her. Especially since she met Daichi, she had completely forgotten about it until she saw him again. Daichi then stopped walking.

" Honey? What's wrong? Worried about something? Wanna talk? " He asked, worriedly.

" N-no, just abit worried about.. Exam results! Thats all. Nothing more or less." Akane smiled.

Daichi nodded and continued to walk. Even though he knew that she probably was hiding something, he didn't want to push for answers. They walked all the way to Akane's house. Akane thanked him for walking her home, he just nodded and patted her head. She smiled at him. Daichi gave her a goodnight kiss on the cheek.

" I hope you know that I love you." Daichi said.

Akane looked up at him as his eyes sparkle in the moonlight.

" Of course I know that, you tell me everyday." She chuckled, nervously.

Daichi walked away.

" I love you too, Daichi." Akane yelled out.

" I know you do, Honey. " He said, waving his hands.

Akane's smile turned into a frown. She quickly unlocked her door and got in. She slammed the door, slightly. She walked into her room and plopped on her bed. Feeling super frustrated. Frustration turned into tiredness and she started to fall asleep.
