Part 31

Daichi sat on his table and did some homework. Akane was rolling around on his bed on her phone as she listened to music. She was unconsciously singing the song but Daichi didn't mind. He enjoyed listening to her sing. She suddenly stopped, Daichi got curious so he turned to look at Akane. Akane was on her stomach with her feet swinging in the air.

" Why did you stop singing? " He asked, teasing her.

Her cheeks heat up as she answered, " Nothing.. I was just scrolling through my emails."

He chuckled, " You looked bored, honey."

" Maybe a little, i don't have homework and watching you sit there makes me bored even though its a Friday night. " She answered as she got up to sit on the edge of the bed.

He moved his chair closer to her and placed his hands on the side of her thighs. He rubbed her thighs with his thumb as he looked into her eyes.

" Sorry honey, I would rather do work now so I don't have to do it tomorrow. And I get to spend tomorrow with you. " He apologised.

Akane shook her head and kissed his cheek," I understand. "

Daichi smiled at her and pushed his chair back to his table. Akane watched as he continued to do his homework. Akane yawned and laid down with her leg still on the edge of the bed. A little while passed and Daichi let out a sigh of relief.

" Finally done." Daichi said as he cracked his neck, getting out from the chair.

He chuckled upon him seeing Akane. She was just sleeping in an odd position. Daichi shook his head and picked her up and tucked her into bed. He brushed through Akane's hair and gave her a kiss on her forehead. He turned off all the lights and got into bed, pulling the sheets over him. He yawned before closing his eyes. Hours passed and Daichi felt Akane tossing and turning in bed. Even though he tends to sleep like a log he could feel that Akane was feeling uneasy. He woke up and immediately tapped Akane's arm trying to wake her up. He noticed that tears was running down from her eyes.

" Daichi.." Akane cried out.

" Love?! What's wrong?! "

Akane's eyes slowly open, only to realise that she had a nightmare. His concerned  eyes looking deep into hers. Daichi wiped her tears with his thumb before giving her a hug. His hand in her shirt, rubbing her back up and down trying to calm her down.

" Shh.. Love its okay. Everything is okay." He reassured her.

Akane tends to get nightmares from time to time but nobody was there to console her but this time, Daichi was there, telling her everything is okay. She pulled away from the hug. Daichi looked into her teary eyes and patted her head. He grabbed her and placed her on top on him as he laid down. Akane's eyes widen but she felt calmer in his embrace. He rubbed her back as she sighed in relief.

Akane could hear Daichi's heartbeat. She felt Daichi gave her a kiss on her head. Daichi didn't want to ask her about what happened in her dream because he's afraid that she might think about it so he decided to ask about it in the morning.

" Thank you.." Akane mumbled, snuggling up into his chest.

" Anything for you, Love. " He smiled, continuing to stroke her back.

Akane's eyes started to get tired as time passed, soon enough she fell asleep. Daichi stayed awake until she fell asleep and when she finally did he let out a sigh of relief. He closed his tired eyes and went to sleep. Hours passed and the sun started to rise. Daichi's phone started to ring. Daichi was sleeping like a log so he didn't hear his ringtone. Akane opened her eyes and tried to find his phone to shut off the alarm. Daichi groaned and opened his eyes.

" Honey what are you doing? " Daichi asked with his raspy voice that made Akane melt.

" I'm sorry darling, I didn't mean to wake you up. I wanted to turn off your alarm."

Daichi let out a tired chuckled as he hugged Akane tighter.

" Wanna go on a run with me? " He asked.

Akane chuckled and nodded. Daichi smiled and used his leg to remove the sheets that was covering them. He picked up Akane and got up. He set Akane down and handed her towel. Daichi told her to go freshen up. Akane nodded and headed to the bathroom. After a while, they got a banana for breakfast before heading out the door. They stretched their legs and started to jog. Akane was wearing Daichi's shirt and jacket with her shorts. Daichi was wearing his shirt and a pair of shorts as well. They admired the morning view as they jogged. Akane was looking at the ground when she heard Daichi shout.

" HONEY WATCH OUT! " Daichi yelled out.

Akane bumped into someone and landed on top of them.

" Crap my head." They said.

Akane recognised that familiar voice, she quickly rolled off them. Daichi quickly helped both Akane and the guy who had bumped into Akane earlier.

" I'm so sorry! I didn't look where I was going! " Akane apologised. She looked up at her eyes widen.

" Natsu!? I'm so sorry! "

" A-Akane? Oh nono it's alright. Are you okay? " Natsu asked.

Akane nodded, " How about you? "

Natsu nodded as he rubbed dust of his clothes. Natsu and Daichi made eye contact. Natsu and Daichi was about the same height. Natsu was 178 and Daichi was 176.8cm. They made awkward eye contact, hoping the other person would speak first.

" Uh..Darling, this is my friend Natsu Kaito. Natsu this is my boyfriend, Sawamura Daichi."

" Nice to meet you." They both said at the same time.

They let out a awkward chuckle. Natsu apologised for bumping into Akane and walked off. Daichi found it odd but he just let it slide. Akane sighed and they both continued their jog. A while passed, Akane and Daichi decided to take a break. They sat down at a nearby bench. Akane decided to go buy a drink at the vending machine close to the bench. Daichi and Akane was dripping in sweat. Akane walked back to the bench holding 2 water bottles. She sat beside Daichi and suddenly just cracked a joke. Daichi looked away from her laughing while rolling up his sleeve to reveal his muscular arm and two toned skin colour.

Akane's eyes widen. She touched his arm and chuckled.

" You don't let that part of your arm be in the sun do ya? " She teased.

Daichi chuckled, shaking his head. He opened the drink and drank the water. Akane did the same as she sunk in the chair.

" Who would've thought your hiding all that muscle." Akane smirked.

" I have more if you wanna look at it. " He teased her, hoping that will get her get flustered.

" Sure." She whispered into his ear, getting up. She smirked and walked away from him.

His face turned red as he got up running after her.

" H-hey! Get back here! " He pouted. Akane just chuckled sneakily as she ran away from him.
