Part 20

A few days have passed and it was the first day of exams. Everyone is very nervous and scared. Akane's alarm beeped. Akane opened her eyes and let out a tired yawn. She checked her phone and saw a message from Daichi.

𝒅𝒂𝒅𝒅𝒚𝒄𝒉𝒊 <3: Morning Honey, I know you have your exams this week. Do your best okay? I love you from the moon and back ❤️

Akane smiled upon seeing his adorable text, it made her heart flutter. Akane rolled out of bed. She accidentally fell on her butt.

" OW.." She yelled, rubbing her butt. She got up and quickly got ready. After a while, she was finally done. She grabbed her stuff and quickly rushed out the door. She put on her shoes and closed the door. On the way there she saw Karin and Luna walking together. She ran up towards them. They greeted her and off to school they go.

" Good luck for the exams." Luna said.

They nodded and told her good luck as well. They reached school and changed their shoes. They head towards their respective classrooms and sat down, waiting for the teacher. The bell rang and the teacher walked in and started giving out the papers. Akane, Luna and Karin breathed in and out.

" Your exams, starts now." the teacher said as the students started writing.

- Daichi's POV -

" Daichi, why are you pacing back and forth?" Sugawara asked.

" Akane is having her exams today. I hope she's doing alright." He answered with a worried tone.

" She's really smart, don't worry about it, Daichi. " Asahi reassured him.

Daichi chuckled nervously. He kept looking at his phone, hoping that Akane would update him about the exams. The last text she sent was - " Thank you darling, love you too! Have a good day 🥰 ". Daichi sighed. He didn't know what to do, while waiting for her exams to finish. He placed his phone down.

" Daichi, pretty sure you're more nervous about her exams then Akane herself." Sugawara joked.

Suddenly Daichi's phone started to vibrate, Daichi quickly turn on his phone to see who texted him. His face lit up when he saw that it was Akane.

Daichi: How was it??

Daichi: No matter how you did, just know that you did your very best okay?

Daichi turned off his phone and gave a small smile at Sugawara and Asahi. They were waiting for Daichi to say something.

" She said that it went well!.. She hope." Daichi sighed.

Sugawara and Asahi both sighed as well. The bell rang and lunch ended. The entire day, Daichi has been thinking about Akane. Since there was no practice that day, Daichi decided to go and pick up Akane after school. That thought made him forget about her exams. Finally, it was the last lesson for the day. Daichi kept on smiling to himself. He eagerly waited for the lesson to end, he kept on looking at the time. The school be rang making Daichi jump out of his seat.

" Daichi? Did you need to go to the bathroom? " The teacher said looking at Daichi, confused.

" Uh no, i was stretching..? " Daichi answered, embarrassed.

Everyone started laughing at Daichi ad he rubbed the back of his neck. The teacher laughed and shook his head. The teacher ended the lesson and everyone started to pack their stuff. Daichi eagerly packed his stuff. Asahi and Sugawara watched him as he smiled happily to himself.

" Daichi, you seem excited." Sugawara teased him.

" Oh, do I? " Daichi chuckled nervously.

Sugawara shook his head. Daichi put on his bag.

" Well, gotta run! Bye you two, see you tomorrow! " Daichi waved, running off.

Asahi and Sugawara just laughed as they watch him run off. Daichi quickly walked out of school, looking at the time.

" Akane should finish school around this time, hopefully she didn't leave school yet. " Daichi said, speed walking to Ryu High.

After a while of walking, Daichi finally reached to her school. He let out a sigh of relief, seeing many students just leaving. He texted Akane asking where she was. After a few minutes she texted him saying that she was just going to leave school. Daichi waited for Akane patiently. His eyes lit up when he saw Akane walking out the door. He hid near the gate and waited for her to walk closer. She was on her phone. As she approached the gate, Daichi suddenly gave her a hug from behind, wrapping his arm around her waist and kissing her cheek. Akane jumped, dropping her phone.

" Oh honey! I'm so sorry! " He apologised, letting go of her.

Akane chuckled, " Don't worry about it. But you scared the hell out of me."

Daichi helped her take her phone and realised that she was on Daichi's chat. She was about to text him. When he read what she put his contact as, it made him get extremely flustered that he almost dropped her phone again.

" Daddychi, huh? " Daichi smirked teasingly, trying to hide his flustered face.

Akane quickly snatched her phone and tried to deny it, blushing. Akane smirked slightly as she noticed that his phone was in his jacket pocket. She tried to get his phone but Akane accidentally slipped and fell on top of Daichi. Daichi landed on the ground with Akane on top of him. Thank goodness nobody was around to see. Ignoring the fact that she was on top of Daichi, Akane saw that his phone slipped out of his pocket. She took it and unlocked it and went to see her contact name. Her face blushed. Daichi was covering his face with his arm because he was blushing really hard, his face and ears started to turn extremely red. Akane let out chuckle and slipped his phone back into his pocket. She smiled looking down at Daichi. Before getting up, she kissed under his lips purposely. Daichi's heart beat faster as he removed his arm from his face. Akane extended out her hand. Daichi chuckled nervously, before grabbing her hand and standing up. Daichi quickly wiped off any dust off his shirt. He saw that Akane was giving him a mischievous smile. He shook his head, grabbing her hand. He pulled her closer to him, teasing her. He whispered something in her ear. Akane could feel his warm breath carcassing her ear. She pushed Daichi slightly and walked away, flustered. Daichi chuckled, running after her. The entire time the were walking home, Akane was walking away, flustered. Daichi kept on laughing at her as he tried to keep up with her pace. Soon they arrived at Akane's house. Akane stopped in front of her door and turned around to look at Daichi. Her face was still really flustered. Daichi chuckled.

" Honey, sorry for teasing you earlier, I-" He got cut off by Akane, who was gently smashing her lips against his, holding his face, sending butterflies to his stomach.

Daichi's eyes widen. Akane pulled away from the kiss, smirking at Daichi. Daichi stared down at her smooth, pink and kissable lips .

" That's what you get for teasing-"

Daichi pulled her back into a deep and passionate kiss. He put her arms around Akane's waist and brought her closer to him. Akane wrapped her arms around his neck, kissing him deeper. She felt as if all the butterflies she felt had disappeared as she passionately kissed him back. Daichi slowly pulled away, staring into her eyes, giving a smile. Daichi let out a nervous chuckle as he slowly loosen his grip around her waist.

" Well, goodnight than. Darling." Akane smiled.

He gave her a kiss on her cheek before waving goodbye, watching her go in her house.
